Short and Sweet We Promise |
||||
We'll admit this is short and sweet. It's first come first serve for the characters, we don't want doubles of a character running around, though PB's, as long as we don't have 400 of the same face running around it's cool. You will be alerted as soon as we can about getting your application. And as soon as the team of mods look it over you'll be informed of your acceptance. If denied, we'll give you a chance to add in details that we think need a little brushing up on and a shot to try again. If you fail that time I'm sorry you won't be able to app that character to the game, though feel free to try another character. |

Character Name: Micheal Ashley Corven || Ashe
This is my boomstickCanon: The Crow: City of Angels
Background:
Ashe was born to a home of mixed orgins. His father was a Hungrian-spanish mix and his mother swiss. He was the middle child of four sibblings, one brother and two sisters one older one younger. Forever pressured to go above and beyond what he wanted to please his mother (An exmple learning 5 langages before age of 10.) His passion was magic and the better he got at it the more his parents disapproved. At the age of 17 he finally cracked after a fight with his older sister he ran away, hitchiking from Switzerland to Paris. He stayed with his aunt for a year in Paris before she gave him the money he needed to go to America like he wished.
Ashe spent a month or two as a model before realzing that he was being tricked into stuff that was closer to porn. Quitting he turned to illegial street racing, this was were he met his deceased wife Heather, she was pretty and all over him the moment he spoke to her, she was pregnate within the first week of knowing him. When she came to him asking for money for an abbortion Ashe struck her for even sugessting such a thing, he forced her to marry him so their child would not be born a bastard and from there his life turned for the worst.
His son was born after 9 months of hell with Heather, and Heather left the day the child was born. Six months later the police informed Ashe that Heather was dead and Ashe was alone in the city to raise the little boy, and thats what he did. He devoted his life, every waking moment to his son. The two lived in the back room of the garage Ashe owned for the next 7 years everything seemed fine and happy. Ashe was very proud of his son, the boy was as quick of a learner as he had been as a boy. The boy had a lot of faith in relgion which was one of the reasons Ashe sent him to Catholic school, though his own faith had mostly died off he wanted his son to grow up knowing what the love of god could feel like.
One night while Ashe was working on an old Charger he called 'Jezebel' Danny was coloring a pictire of the two of them, it was then that a gunshot rang out and their lives changed forever. Ashe tried to stop Danny from seeing the hit but it was too late and now they were victims too. The moment Danny's blood splashed across him and he saw the light drain from his son's eyes part of Ashe Corven died. A few months later he raised from the watery grave he and his child were pushed into and made every one of them involved pay. In the process he lost his chance to cross over, tied between the worlds forever.
Personality: Ashe Corven pretty much has developed a split personalty from the trauma of seeing his young son murdered. First you have Ashe, whom is a joker by nature he is a caring man who for the most part keeps to himself but will every now and then go out on a branch and try to help those around him but as he lived for almost a decade in a city as cold as the City of Angels he has learned to walk away from terrible things and be unmoved by them while at the same time wishing he could do more. That is where The Avatar comes in, and yes Ashe does think of the Avatar as its own being to the point he still paints his face when he goes out just to keep part of himself alive, the Avatar is like most other Crow spirits pushed by vengance and a need for blood, Ashe has often joked that his darker side is 'The King of Pain' as that is all he has known since his return from the dead. The Avatar is pretty much all of the darkness Ashe hides, he thrists for violence and has some very twisted thoughts. ( Example from the novel ) He is a bit of a pyromaniac and if he cant defeat his enemies he will surly burn them to death, and also this doubles for things he doesn't think he can handle like Sarah's apartment which he burned after he death...and reading her diary.
Abilities: Ashe is a Crow Avatar, meaning he has gifts given to him because of his painful death. Because be is already dead, The Avatars are incapable of feeling pain outside of the tortured memories of their and their loved one's own untimely demise, this also works as empathy if AShe were to touch someone suffering he would feel their pain and could easily pass it on to another. In the case of Ashe this pain powers him more then some crows. He can instantly recover from any form of bodily harm, no matter how great the damage, unless he inflicts it himself outside of a battle. An example, he shoots himself in the head to scare Spider Monkey and a would be robber and heals, however if he cut his wrists in a fit od depression that would scar and take forever to heal. The spirits don't take suicide lightly. The crows also have otherworldly strength, they can easily overcome any adversary, even those who would be otherwise untouchable. The Avatar's supernatural senses also make him or her exceptionally skilled at hunting down and eliminating a target, and superhumanly agile with cat-like reflexes, thus the avatar can fight with great skill and shoot with great accuracy even if he or she had never possessed such skills during his or her life. In addition the Avatar shares eyes with their Crow, thus being able to observe the place with the help of the bird. The Crow also does everything to help the reborn when it's necessary.
Weaknesses: Self mutilation, any wounds or damage inflicted upon himself will not heal by the crow powers but will scar and heal naturally. Exculding shotting himself in the head or self mutilation in the name of scaring people, seems to be alright by the crow. As Ashe has shot himself in the head mutiple times for laughs and the horrified looks of those he stalks.
As his link to the land of the living the Crow will sometimes die for the avatar however if the Crow does infact die, the avatar becomes practically mortal once more, they get to keep their empathic powers but the healing stops and they can then be killed, though in the case of AShe being cursed for disobeying the higher powers he would die but raise again by the next night just seriously hurt.
Sample:
Ashe had drove past his son's old school almost 100 times since Selene helped him to move his child's body and wife's ashes to hollow ground. He knew Danny could rest now and some of the angel's that came and went that could smell the spirit of the crow on him would tell him what a sweet boy he had raised, how he was truely a light in heaven. The burden of Ashe's sadness was slowly being lifted as he channeled all of that pain into productivity. His shop was thriving and he was helping Raine with her indoor garden and doing a lot of home repairs on Sarah's loft to try and help make it more of a home.
He kept a smile on his face almost all the time when people were around him or Sarah was awake. The moment she was asleep or he was alone Ashe was off by himself either sitting on a roof or downing the hidden bottle of bourbon in the loft. The spirit can't rest if it's ...burdened by the weight of their own sadness.' He would often hear Sarah's voice in the back of his head. She had told him these words when he still had his mission about him. Kill Judah Earl. Set the wrong's right.
The wrong's were right, yet he remained, faking happy6 and playing hero to his new found friends. Part of Ashe wished when he couldn't sleep at night and the drink was all he had to keep his mind from running that he wasn't immortal. That if he stepped off the roof of the loft that instead of hitting the ground and getting up unscaved that he would splat and would go on to hell where he felt he belonged. These thoughts he dared not share with Sarah or the others. He would just take a few shots till he felt numb, swish some mouthwash then crawl back in bed.
He didn't want to bring his sadness out, he didn't want them to see that burying Danny had not set his soul free. It just reminded him more that he was cursed, he was alone in the end...he just didn't want to look around and see he was surrounded by people that cared about him.
Finally he found himself walking through the gate one day, some Black EYed Susans that used to grow beside the shop, he had pulled them up by the roots. Theses were the same ones Danny used to endlessly pick and bring to Ashe 'Here Daddy! I brought you flowers!' he'd say with everyone he brought, so AShe felt he had to bring them to Danny. AShe moved to sit down before the small grave tossing his jacket over the tombstone as he pulled out his pocket knife and sat to hollow out a small hole before the tomebstone.
"You know Danny, when I was a boy my mother would call them 'Buttercups' When I tried to order some for your mother the florist laughed at me. Personally I think Black Eyed Susan is a stupid name, I think it's just a beautiful flower..." He placed the roots in the ground and started to press the dirt around the plant before placing his dirty hand on his son's name and closed his eyes "We should have left when Heather died....we should have just gone to Switzerland and lived with mother. If I would have just swollowed my pride you'd still be alive and with me... You me and Sarah..."
'You wouldn't know Sarah.' He heard a dark voice speak, looking around he saw no one. That was when the bird he knew all too well landed on his coat on the tombstone. he could swear it was glaring at him.
'You swore to protect the city, you want your salvation. You want to ease your suffering! Gardening and avoiding your problems wont do it Corven!' The bird squawked but Ashe could hear the voice plan as day. 'Yes you lost Daniel! you avenged him and he is about to be reborn or become a guardian angel because you raised him as well as you did! Stop moping about! We gave you the voice back. Now go live the rest of your life, have another child. Always remember Daniel but never hold his spirit down again Corven! You're starting down a dark path if you stay like this! If you stay in this path I swear to you you're brethren will come for you and destroy your soul! I will not have another dark avatar! Do NOT make me regret tapping you! No go home to the voice...and one last thing, If you even let someone touch my sister again I will peck you eyes out. Go home. Stop drinking.'
Just as soon the bird was gone and Ashe stood looking confused but feeling more clear, he snatched up his jacket touching the grave once more and hurried out to were the bike was parked. "Thank you." He whispered to the air, he knew his benefactor must still be near. Climbing on the bike he sped home.

Character Name: (Might be a good idea so we know what to call your character) Marion Scotts
Canon: (What fandom do they belong to?) Original Character
Background:(Give us at least 500 words about your character's life.)
Marion Scotts grew up in a medium sized town in centeral Texas just about forty minutes outside of Dallas. Her parents both worked long hours so she grew up having to learn to fend for herself. Her Dad though liked to show her how to go camping when he could. He taught her how to take care of herself and it grew to be some of her favorite father-daughter time. Just before she was getting ready fo her third year of college (she wanted to go into medical school someday to do her Dad proud) he discovered he had a rare form of cancer in his spinal colum and the treatment became so expensive Marion dropped out of school so she could go home to act as his nurse.
After he passed away she found she wasn't motivated to go to school. Insead she got a job and worked as a sales girl in a local shop while she tried to figure ut what her new normal should be.
At 26 Marion was bitten by a werewolf while on a road trip to go see an uncle. She didn't know hat it was at the time. It was too big to be anything she could name. She discovered her condition after the first full moon. She didn't want to accept she had gone from being just a girl who worked in a shop to some kind of monster.
She's trying to learn to keep the wolf under control but can no longer stay where she has been. Time to take her show on the road and hopefully find a way to keep the wolf from ruining her life. Her worst fear would be what would happen if she accidently infected someone else and ruined their life so far she's been lucky. She has been able to keep it from hurting people. But she still worries about what might happen every day.
Personality: (Now Give us at least 500 words, on what drives them to do what they do? Tell us their personality )
Marion survived a werewolf attack a few months ago. This is going to play very heavily into her early apperances as she is still suffering from the trama of surviving the attack and the still newness of being a werewolf. Right now she isn't in a good place mentally. She suffers from a frequent lack of sleep and has noticed that the closer it gets to the full moon the easier it is for her to lose her cool. If the moon wanes she finds her mood is better and she feels like the kind and almost bubbly person she used to be the more the moon fades so she thinks it has to do with the moon and the wolf.
So far she has had it all under control. By giving up everything that might trigger the wolf to react. She will only eat chicken and eggs for protein as she thinks it makes the wolf less aggressive and has taken to living out of her car. This means she has to be less social than she used to be because she's technically homeless and is afraid of people treating her poorly because of how she has to live.
She is constantly feeling stressed and unhappy because she has no idea what kind of future someone could possibly have when they're a monster. She is aware that even if she does control the wolf it can never go away and the idea of the wolf getting loose and hurting someone just leaves a cold pit in her stomach. Part of her hinks she'll find a reason to keep going because she REALLY doesn't want to die. She knows she needs a cause to believe in but so far nothing has come her way and this is mostly because she just keeps moving.
What Marion doesn't know is even though she 'feels' the wolf and how it reacts the wolf is a part of her unconcious mind that is trying to protect her from the world.
Abilities: (Are they a great hacker? An angry green giant? How about the walking dead themselves? Give us some idea of what they can do)
Werewolf- enhanced senses most of the time with an increased metabolism and healing rate. Meaning she can recover four times as quickly to any health issues that have occurred.
She has some ability to live off the land if she needs to but can't do so for more than a month at a time. She is also intuned enough with the wolf to know when it is feeling active or not and if something makes it nervous.
She has a decent education and is smart enough that had she been able to she would have made a fine doctor. Regardless she's pretty sharp and can pick up on information pretty quickly.
Weaknesses: (Everyone has that trigger that makes them weak. What is your character's Kryptonite? Let us know some of those fears that the character would rather keep hidden.)
She is now very allergic to silver.
The smell of blood brings the wolf closer to the surface and makes her start to lose control over the beast within. The more angry she gets the less human she will react as the wolf takes over and if she fully loses her temper-- watch out! Big angry werewolf.
Marion will not recall what the wolf does when she has transformed. (Until later with lots of in-game training).
She might suffer from some case of PTSD from just how violent the attack was that transformed her into a werewolf. She has frequent nightmares and doesn't sleep well. She really is unhappy if people handle her right side of her stomach area as that is where most of the scarring occured from when she was attacked.
Shifting will feel like she is dying because of how painful it is for her. The wolf will always feel a bit dazed at first no matter how angry it is simply because of how her body has to change for her to go from human to werewolf form. This is part of why she can't remember things.
The wolf also no matter what will have a strong reaction against supernatural beings it views as a threat. This will be something she has to struggle with.
Sample:(First or third person sample, you can also link from another journal or use a drabble! Just show us you can write.)
Oh God the moon is full tonight. She checks the map she has in her car. She'll have to drive for the rest of the day but she knows where she can go. She has plenty of gas she just has to get there before night fall. Marion takes a deep breath and winces when she sees how badly her hands are shaking.
Everything has to be fine. She just has to get through the next three nights then she can move on. Hopefully this time she doesn't wake up naked and far away from where she parked the car. Yeah right, like she's that lucky.

Bruce Banner ☢ MCU Canon

Are you over 18: god I hope so or I'm so screwed. 32
Contact: Aim: Notmanelf, tejinastoybox
hey in a pinch I wouldn't mind to see you attempt smoke signals!
Character Name: Dr. Bruce Banner
Canon: Incredible Hulk / Avengers (MCU canon)
Background:Bruce banner was working at Culver University when the US army recruited him to attempt to recreate the serum that was created by Abraham Erskine to create Captain America. He was not informed of the reason for the project he was on thinking it was something to help with radiation defenses for soldiers.
Feeling positive that gamma radiation was the key to stabilizing and activating the serum that was made he tested it on himself, exposing himself to lethal amounts of radiation. Instead of protecting him the combination of the drug and the radiation transformed him into a large green creature, whom rampaged destroying the lab, and seriously harming Bruce’s on again off again girlfriend Betty Ross.
This brought the attention of her father, General Ross, who wanted to turn the Hulking beast he had turned into in to a weapon. Bruce, not wanting that to happen goes on the run. Because of the Hulk he tries to avoid populated areas, travelling on his own causes him to get depressed.
At one point he’s so deep in his depression he actually tried to swallow a bullet to end it all, only to have Hulk spit the bullet out. After that he decides to try to find a way to keep Hulk contained.
This meant he’d have to get used to being in populated areas again. Bruce took a job in Rio de Janeiro at a factory, while in his free time trying to find a remedy for the high levels of radiation within him. A mishap brought Ross back down on him. But he had information from a colleague back in the States that there was a chance of curing his condition. Travelling to New York he ran into Betty again, who helped him try to get cured, problem is her father had a new colleague of his own. Blonsky got his hands on the serum that had been derived of Bruce’s blood and became an Abomination. After the fight which he won, Bruce left, this time taking to the Canadian wilderness trying to find a place to learn to control himself.
After disappearing for a year and a half he was found again by Natasha Romanoff working in the slums as a doctor. Didn’t take much to convince him to go with her to help S.H.I.E.L.D. While there he was put in charge of finding the Tesseract which had been stolen by Loki. While there he and Tony became friends.
While on the Helicarrier Loki managed to trigger Hulk, causing him to do damage to the helicarrier, but managing to give Black Widow time to get Hawkeye back from Loki’s grasp. He got separated from the group, landing in the middle of an empty factory. By the time he gets to New York Loki’s little war’s already started. He stops Loki from interfering more in things by, for better use of a term, using Loki as a rag doll.
After everything’s dealt with he takes on Tony’s offer to stay in New York and hand out at the labs for a bit, that was a few months ago, and he’s been staying with Tony and Pepper, while he’s given up curing himself, he’s been working on trying to cure others with Gamma radiation sickness.
Personality:
He has a split personality, it’s the easiest way to describe it. While he’s still Bruce he’s smarter, and is more relaxed if you go by outward appearance. Those in the know know he’s always angry, fighting with his other half for control.
The Bruce persona is the one he shows more to the public, let’s face it he’s a bit easier to get along with, and he’s a doctor, Medical field (though unlicensed) as well as scientific fields. He’s the leading expert on gamma radiation despite him being on the run for most of the last decade. He hasn’t published any papers recently being a fugitive and all that, though lately that’s started to change since he’s been staying in New York with Tony Stark and Pepper Potts.
If he feels the other guy starting to come on strong, if he’s able he’ll distance himself from the public, as to cause the least amount of damage possible. He’s worried about hurting innocent bystanders and will do all he can to protect lives. If that means going back on the run then he’ll do it.
Most things Bruce will let slide by without a thought, after all if he nitpicked everything he’d be at risk of losing what little control over the Hulk he does have, and no one wants to be nearby if he loses control, it’s never a pretty sight.
And now this brings me to the big guy. While Bruce has all the brains and normal human strength… Hulk is well Hulk. He’s strong enough to lift trucks and launch them into the air. Downside, he’s not as bright. Not saying he’s an idiot, but to talk to him, simple phrases are a little better, the less words the better.
While he’s the big guy he’s harder to keep down as well. Hulk is pretty much a safety mechanism for Bruce, to protect him, problem is who protects the two from one another, they’re constantly fighting for control over the body which is part of the reason they never really rest. Bruce is afraid that if Hulk gets lose he’ll destroy everything, while Hulk just wants to be free and left alone.
While Bruce states in Avengers that he’s always angry, it’s more like he’s always just that close to losing control, after all it can’t be that easy just by thinking peaceful thoughts to keep Hulk back. He doesn’t seem to be the kind of being that can just sit back, and considering how easy it is for him to change when he’s in danger, feels right saying that’s more the truth than he’s just got great anger management skills. Though being around Tony Stark those skills are put to their limits a little more often than anything, though it’s not really Tony’s fault, Bruce and Hulk just have to get used to being back in civilization that isn’t always sun by drug cartels. As long as he doesn’t take taxis anywhere he should be safe enough in New York right?
Abilities:
Genetic metamorphisis - He can turn into a big green rage monster
Scientific genius - He's the top name in the field of gamma radiation studies
Parkour - He's picked this up along the way while he was on the run as a fugitive, though he's not an expert at it.
various martial arts - he's studied these mostly for the calming techniques while he was on the run, so that he could handle being in small towns without an incident. Last thing he'd want to do is hurt someone just because they bumped into him after all.
Weaknesses:
Himself, that's one of his greatest ones, if the situation is too stressful he could shift into Hulk and well not every situation is good for smashing stuff.
In his Hulk form the allies Hulk's made can be used against him, he will balk a moment before attacking unless the person just irks him (Tony, or Thor) and Hulk's not quick to forgive someone if he thinks they helped trap him (Widow).
Banner isn't bullet proof, though because of his condition it's best if he doesn't have armor, tehy don't make kevlar stretchy enough which means if he's taken out before he can switch forms Hulk will be out of control until he can recover.

Character Name: (Might be a good idea so we know what to call your character)
Ivy Weaver
Canon: (What fandom do they belong to?) I play her in a DC universe.
Background:(Give us at least 500 words about your character's life.)
Ivy is the daughter of Doctor Daniel Weaver and his wife Ruth Weaver. Ruth was not able to have anymore children after Ivy so she focused a great deal of her energy on Ivy. Ruth also had a very loud forceful personality while Daniel was a quite thoughtful man.
Though he did have a rebellious streak. Most people in the extended Weaver family are lawyers; he is not one he is a chemist at a small research firm based out in Boston. He would only complain Umbrella got the better and more interesting work since they were better funded.
While Daniel was from a very firm Roman Catholic background Ruth's family came from Louisiana and she was a Reform Jew though did not really participate actively in her faith and was okay with Daniel bringing Ivy with him to church on Sundays as she was growing up.
Ivy was very bright. She like her father had an interest in science at an early age. He encouraged it in his own way by bringing her to work when he could. When she was sixteen she was with him at work when there was an accident in one of the labs that wasn't supposed to be use. That was how Ivy lost her eyesight and she was put into a coma for four days.
She sank into a depression due to the loss of her eyesight. Her father almost fell into the bottle due to his sense of guilt over what happened to his only child and her mother did her best to hold them all together. Ivy kept pushing between not reacting at all and pushing them away not wanting to feel suffocated. It became worse for her when both of her parents became very clingy not wanting to see her hurt and seeing her as helpless rather than capable of being capable.
That is what drove her to recover. She taught herself braille and how to use a white stick quickly wanting to just get away as fast as she could. She felt too smothered by everyone around her and so when she applied to Harvard and got in she was just over joyed; she could get away and be her own person. Her Father's uncle offered to help pay her way through school so long as she at least checked in with him on occasion since he was a long time Grenich resident.
It was also dear Uncle Alex that encouraged her to try out a pre-law class. It was also him that helped her find an apartment with a room mate. He pulled strings to make sure she was a nurse without letting Ivy know out of concern that she might not take care of herself well enough without someone logical and reasonable about.
Bethany became Ivy's best friend. While Ivy wasn't in class or studying they would frequently go out for coffee or go shopping. They also frequently went on double dates since Ivy was very shy and Bethany knew just when to bail her out. But eventually Bethany fell in love and got engaged while Ivy's uncle Alex got very sick. It wasn't what Ivy wanted but she got talked into looking after him by family members who didn't live in town and since the lease on her apartment was up she moved into his guest room and started keeping an eye on things.
That was around the time she met Bill. He was a cop and was very charming. He also helped her with her Uncle when he was too much to handle for one person. They had a brief courtship and a fast marriage. Once Ivy was out of law school and practicing law working in the District Attorney's office in a low level position. That was when their marriage started to go sour. Bill thought she should work for a firm because it was safer.
They argued and fought a lot before their marriage fell down around their ears. The last straw was after her uncle passed away and she had one final argument with Bill. He walked out on her and she threw herself into her work while they divorced. She also made certain to go back to her maiden name feeling very bitter about the divorce still. That was the year she started to get ahead in the DA's office in New York City.
It was also that time she became deeply involved in trying to uncover a project Umbrella had been working on in New York City. She tried to bring it out into the light of day but due to corruption her career as an Assistant District Attrorney was destroyed. She still wants to take them down but she doesn't know how just yet.
Personality: (Now Give us at least 500 words, on what drives them to do what they do? Tell us their personality )
The Bull-Dog of the court room. Ivy is a very principled person. She belives in doing the right thing above all else. She has dedicated her life to helping people by fighting corruption wherever she finds it.
She is strict on herself when it comes to this though. Hard and uncompromising as a creature formed from iron. Ivy will not let anyone force her to back down. She will not be swayed by anything no one can tell her to give up or back down.
She will fight to the bitter end and if she has to she will crawl back from the dead and punch evil in the face.
Abilities: (Are they a great hacker? An angry green giant? How about the walking dead themselves? Give us some idea of what they can do)
Ivy is a lawyer with a genius-level intellect. She is the Batman of the courtroom.
Weaknesses: (Everyone has that trigger that makes them weak. What is your character's Kryptonite? Let us know some of those fears that the character would rather keep hidden.)
Ivy is blind and entirely human. She has a dependency of coffee and is a workaholic.

Character Name: (Might be a good idea so we know what to call your character) Red
Canon: (What fandom do they belong to?) Once Upon a Time
Background:(Give us at least 500 words about your character's life.) > Red grew up in a small town, with a strong willed and somewhat oppressive grandmother – “Granny” would call her in just to check on her, constantly force her to wear a red cloak under the claim that it repelled wolves, and often forbid her from spending time with her boyfriend. The excuse was always the same - the bloodthirsty wolf that came through her town on a regular basis – during “wolfstime.”
Viewers were first exposed to Red after the first night of this wolfstime, when she found the fugitive Snow White stealing several eggs from her chicken coop. Snow White apologized – explaining that she’d hidden from the howling of the wolf the night before in terror, and that she was now stealing in hunger. Red responded to this by offering the woman food and shelter, forming a quick bond with the woman despite Snow’s insistence on using a fake name. It was shortly after that when Red and Snow White found the scattered body parts of a hunting party that had gone after the wolf.
In the aftermath Snow (calling herself Mary) suggested that Red’s grandmother was simply using the wolf to keep her from her boyfriend Peter. It was in response to this which Red formulated her plan – to hunt the very wolf who had killed those men, during the daylight when it slept.
Red followed the tracks, and Snow following her – the latter apparently unable to track, while the former showed off remarkable skills, claiming she had always been able to find what she was looking for. Though the two of them joked together at the start, the jokes abruptly stopped when Snow first found the wolf’s large footsteps – realizing from the strides that it must be the size of a small pony. Worse, they quickly found that the wolf’s paw print shifted into that of a human boot, leading back to Red’s windowsill – indicting Peter (her late night visitor) to be the werewolf.
Armed with this knowledge, Red went to speak with Peter; she convinced him of his alter ego’s existence, and together they planned to chain him up. She would wait by his side throughout the full moon, while Snow wore her cloak and pretended to be Red for the sake of her grandmother.
Granny did discover the plan, but far too late. It was revealed that Red was in fact the werewolf, not peter– and had been since she was 13, apparently inheriting it from her mother, and grandmother (now inactive) before her. While Peter screams for her to stop, we are shown Red growling. By the time she was found, she was already in the middle of eating him.
Although she lunged at the duo, a silver tipped arrow fired by the grandmother knocks Red out – and her red cloak (apparently bought from a traveling wizard), suppresses the wolf, allowing Red to be turned back to normal. The horrified girl was told what she has done, just in time to be forced into fleeing from oncoming villagers.
Personality: (Now Give us at least 500 words, on what drives them to do what they do? Tell us their personality )
Red is by nature sweet and somewhat trusting. Excluding the blood thirsty wolf – which she mostly took for granted – she lived a relatively sheltered life with her grandmother, in a cottage, at the outskirts of a small town. She didn’t seem keen to distrust people – and when told by Snow White that people were after her, Red’s first instinct was to 1. Accept and vocalize the fact that Snow had little reason to believe in her, and 2. simply ask for something to call the woman (Not at all insisting upon her real name, and actively accepting a fake.) She also offered shelter and food, despite Snow’s attempt to steal eggs.
It would be unwise to mistake her relative innocence for naivety, however, or her sweetness for a universally gentle outlook. Red grew up in a town where once a month they locked their doors, and waited up with crossbows while a wolf killed and ate their livestock. When a hunting party wanted to go out and hunt the wolf, her first request was to join them. When she later were found dead, and the water of the well turned red, she was appropriately horrified – but not particularly grief stricken, recovering within hours despite an apparent lifetime of knowing these men. Death appears to be a part of Red’s world, and she adapts quickly to its presence.
Determination is another noteworthy trait that marks Red, along with bravery to the point of recklessness. When Snow proposed that her grandmother was using the wolf as an excuse to keep Red from her boyfriend, Peter, Red’s reaction was simple – “let’s kill the wolf.” Despite the fact that it had just killed an entire hunting partner, she proposed that they could track and find it in the day, when it was sleeping. She pointed out that they would be heroes, and eventually convinced Snow to join her – partially by making it clear she was going regardless. As Red said, when there’s something she wants, she’s always been able to track it down.
Still, Red also had a certain mischievousness about her; talking to Peter through her window, never wearing the cloak her grandmother got her – Red was generally made to feel repressed due to the great amount of attention her grandmother paid to her activities. She never full out rebelled – she didn’t drink, party, neglect her chores, or generally go against what her grandmother told her – she would wear the cloak whenever outright ordered, for example, just not of her own volition. But little mischiefs were some of what kept her sane, and allowed her to keep a sense of self while under her granny’s thumb.
Despite those mischiefs, though, Red really did love her grandmother, and she shows a general devotion to those she cares about. Even after all the arguing, Red did not want to leave her grandmother behind – even despite needing to flee the town. Similarly, when she thought her boyfriend Peter was the werewolf, she didn’t abandon him. She offered to tie him up and stay by his side – claiming she could find rope. He, in turn, offered to use chains. Further, although she talked about fleeing the town with Peter, she chose the dangerous route of taking on the wolf instead – prior to her discovery that it was a werewolf. Although her grandmother seemed to oppress her, Red harbors a deep sense of loyalty and family, perhaps because of her time in the village.
The Wolf’s personality, however, appears to be distinct from Red’s, so I would like to give it a paragraph as well. We know from story’s of her grandfather that the wolf form can think for itself – it attacked the weapons when hunted, before going after the hunters themselves; then, upon discovering Red’s grandmother (then a scared little girl) it purposefully marked her, and later came back to turn her, thus indicating that it had its own wish for a mate. This wish does not necessarily correlate to the human host. Despite the fact that Red appeared to love Peter very much – and him in turn – the wolf showed no hesitation in ripping out his throat. Since the man was chained at the time, he presented no risk. He knew it was Red, as well, shouting for her to stop – and still the wolf killed him. It is blood thirsty by nature; and while it might enjoy a mate, it would seem to have criteria separate from Red’s.
Later cameos from Red reveal that she eventually gains control of her inner wolf, to some extent – apparently able to put her cloak back on of her free will, and return to her wolf form; she appeared more confident in herself, and her abilities – and also more fierce, less willing to trust strangers and more ready to accuse Snow of being too trusting herself. Though I’m hoping to take her from her early times, when her history is known and set, it is worth noting that she is quite likely to develop into the confident young woman seen later in the show.
Abilities: (Are they a great hacker? An angry green giant? How about the walking dead themselves? Give us some idea of what they can do) Red is a good tracker. She lived near forest, and she knows some basic woodsmanship – from what we see in the show, she would know how to work a crossbow, and maybe a normal bow as well.
Powers: She’s a werewolf, changing only at the full moon, and the two days surrounding it. Her wolf form, at an estimate, stands about five feet tall – about chin level with a grown woman – and ten feet From snout to bottom, excluding tail. They make a point of noting that it takes a human several steps to match one of hers in wolf form.
The transformation includes clothing, and a complete memory wipe – when the sun rose, she would turn back to a human, walk back to her room, crawl back into bed, and wake up without any knowledge at all that something had occurred – from her perspective, she had merely gone to sleep, and woken up.
Her status as a werewolf has a genetic component – she inherited it from her mother, and her grandparents before her – but she can also turn another. This is separate from the bite, which merely marks them, and the process is not gone into at length; we know that her grandmother claimed the bite hurts every full moon, so it would seem the mark itself has some magical properties when the transformations themselves are not functional.
Some werewolf abilities come through even in her human form, during the time of the full moon – this appears to work even when the curse is otherwise blocked, and are generally limited to extremely heightened senses. (Her grandmother was able to follow Red’s trail by scent, despite the transformation itself apparently having been lost to old age; and Red herself – in human form, during the day of the full moon – can apparently able to tune in on the heartbeat of an unconscious man, hearing it as “hammering.”) Although her cloak blocks her transformations, it is likely that she will still be able to access these senses with minor effort.
The wolf has human-like intelligence, being able to reason, and apparently having goals of its own – completely separate from Red’s own wants and desires. It’s personality will be detailed along with Red’s in the personality section below.
We know from cameos of her future self that she can eventually gain control of her wolf form, remaining conscious and asserting enough control to return to her cloak and shift back into a human.
Weaknesses: (Everyone has that trigger that makes them weak. What is your character's Kryptonite? Let us know some of those fears that the character would rather keep hidden.)
She can be killed with human weapons – in either form - but it is recommended that one use silver during her wolf form. Contrary to modern legends, a silver tipped weapon does not appear to harm the beast, but rather knock it unconscious – a silver tipped arrow fired directly at the charging beast from a crossbow caused no visible damage, but simply put it to sleep long enough for Snow to cover Red with her cloak, and return her to human form.
More than that, Red will currently be very afraid of herself, and the wolf inside of her – she ate her love, and she is very much aware of how little control she currently has.
Sample:(First or third person sample, you can also link from another journal or use a drabble! Just show us you can write.)
Red strode through the forests, a large basket in her hand and a familiar cloak flowing easily off her shoulders. It was a familiar weight – barely registering most days, and comfortable. She wished she knew how to control the wolf inside of her – but barring that, she could keep others from harm.
“Snow?” she called, hearing an answering rustle up ahead. She smiled faintly in response, tightening her grip on the basket. It was always nice to see Snow – the rare visits were hardly enough; but she had a life, now; friends; a place to call home. It felt good. “Snow? You know I’m going to find you…”
There was another rustle – but she could see the strings the woman had tied, to trick her. She ignored the tree tops in any case, focusing on the ground. Snow White was learning all the time – but Red was still the tracker; and besides, she had an advantage.
Tipping her nose to the air, she accessed the wolf’s senses, smelling for Snow’s familiar presence, and listening for a heartbeat. The former was carefully hidden, but when scent was combined with sound there was no escaping Red. With a small smile, she made her way through the trees, basket of goodies still in hand. She loved these monthly visits.

Character Name: (Might be a good idea so we know what to call your character) Vampire!Willow Rosenberg
Canon: (What fandom do they belong to?) Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Background:(Give us at least 500 words about your character's life.)
Willow was born to an Sheila and Ira Rosenberg, both of whom remained largely uninvolved in Willow’s life – a factor that contributed both to her childish attitude as a vampire, and to her confidence issues as a human.
Being a relatively shy and somewhat nerdy girl during her early high school years, Willow maintained high grades in her various classes, particularly science, math, and computers. She also maintained a crush on her childhood friend Xander, which – as Buffy never came to Sunnydale – she never admitted to anyone while still alive, keeping it under wraps. Despite the unrequited feelings, Xander remained her closest (possibly only) friend , with the two banding together to deal with their less-than-perfect parents – Willow’s neglecting her, and Xander’s known for being drunks.
This all changed after the Maste – a powerful vampire – broke free of his imprisonment in Sunnydale, turning Willow and Xander both, and eventually making them his right hands. As humans they had seemed to share only a bond of friendship, Willow’s crush aside – a very close friendship, but no more. As vampires, their relationship altered dramatically, with casual sexual contact becoming the norm – although ironically, the extent of Willow’s feelings began to fade. In fact, she appeared only slightly saddened by Xander’s later death at the hands of the slayer.
The exact details of her life as a vampire are unknown; she was something of a dominatrix, enjoying torture – and most likely killed her parents, due to their eternally bad relationship. Her father undoubtedly had a quick death – but her mother, who’s neglect hurt her most, would have had a more prolonged death; Willow would have wanted her mother to look at her before being killed.
As the Master’s right hand, she also took a part in the Master’s plan to take over Sunnydale, and to make it into the center of mass production. Working with him, they kidnapped humans, enabling them to drain their blood via machinery for easier drinking by vampire kind. Though this removed the hunt that Willow enjoyed, it was scene as a technological jump forward from their old ways. It was during this that her lifelong friend (and lover) Xander was killed by Buffy summers, when she came into town to stop their plans – dying herself shortly afterwards, although Willow missed it.
Willow made her biggest mark on the world(s) when she was conjured to the “main” universe of Sunnydale – a place where the Master had never rose, she had never become a vampire, and the area went on without knowing (by and large) about the existence of vampires.
The vampire’s solution was to take the place over; to make it as “fun” as the vampire-run place she had come from; she was stopped by the slayer, however, and sent home by her own alternate (where she would have been subsequently staked through the heart, and killed, unbeknownst to them.)
For the purpose of this game, the staking did not occur – she survived, arriving back in time to watch the slayer of her world killed; and Giles – scared when nothing changed from his destruction of Anyaka’s amulet (their world continuing as just one of many possible alternate dimensions) and Giles, out of hope, concocted one last plan to restore things to normal. He researched a spell that would bring a vampire’s soul back – not the curse used on Angelus, but an actual spell that would permanently restore a vampire’s soul.
Unfortunately for him, the spell was ironically intercepted – the Master throwing Willow herself into it, and giving back her soul; faced with what she had done (and a town of vampire’s who would than have gladly ripped her to shreds) she was forced to flee for her unlife.
Personality: (Now Give us at least 500 words, on what drives them to do what they do? Tell us their personality )
Human-Willow (at this point in canon) was often shy, unwilling or unable to stand up for herself when she thought things were unfair. By contrast, vampire Willow tends to be outspoken – though she didn’t always use words to communicate. When pleading with her world’s version of Xander, for example, she preferred whimpers in lieu of an actual argument. Similarly, when she wanted another vampire to work for her (in “doppelgangland”), she did not tell them to shift allegiances – she asked them who they worked for, and broke a finger each time they asked her wrong.
This isn’t to say that she's incapable of normal speech, or even that she necessarily disliked it – she had relatively normal conversations with both Cordelia, and her own human alternate, among others. But she seemed to enjoy cultivating a playful - often childish - persona, somewhat like Drusilla (another vampire on her world),although less insane. (The similarity may even have been on purpose, due to her fondness for tormenting her “puppy,” AKA Angel, the vampire that sired Drusilla in the first place.) Regardless of her other intents, however, her “playful” side serves to offset the sadism that has Willow portrayed since becoming a vampire, on level with some of the worst from her race. Between pouting facial expressions, and calls of “puppy,” she would playfully drop matches upon Angel’s chest to watch him burn.
Fueled by the predatory nature of her inner demon, Vampire-Willow claimed to love the thrill of chasing down a human, apparently relishing it as much as the kill itself– her love of the latter reminding the Master of his younger days. Where some vampires are content simply to feed, and others seem to treat pain as an art, Willow drew her drive from a combination of the two. The moment she was denied either the fun of the chase, or the thrill of the kill, she seemed to lose interest – becoming moody and despondent at any obstacle. For example, when presented by Wesley’s rather weak attempt to stop her with a cross and holy water, she didn’t even bother get past him to her prey, but rather rolled her eyes and left, apparently bored now that her chase had been interrupted.
Unlike Angelus – another vampire - , for whom pain seemed a form of art, Willow has historically treated it as simple entertainment – good so long as nothing is in her way, but not a strict requirement if something is more pressing. When actually ordered to kill Cordelia, for example, she simply did so – with no attempts to play along the way. And when presented with a slayer - even one who had killed her lover - she mostly wandered away in disgust. Where some have been willing to cut out their own hearts for the chance at revenge, Willow marks self-preservation first and foremost, and (despite her sadistic love of power) will cause trouble only when she feels she can get away with it.
This means in a city of heroes, she is extremely unlikely to go on a killing spree – or even to kill anyone at all, unless convinced no one will stake her for the trouble. Though this will cause her to mope, she will bounce back easily enough if given other (more willing) venues for blood and play.
It is important to note that, she waswilling to go forward with the Masters plan of “mass production” – the drawing of blood from humans via a machine - which would remove the hunt (and fun) out of most drinking, leaving them with easy access to blood. (She is capable of respecting the utilitarian benefits of easy access, even when it isn’t always her favorite path - particularly when it involves less obstacles, and not getting on a powerful figure’s bad side.)
Although the vampire’s traits do not always directly connect to their human half, Willow’s own vampire self seems to be a twisting of her own desire for confidence, to better express herself; as Willow occasionally wanted freedom from the responsibilities often thrusted upon her, vampire Willow eschewed all responsibilities not connected to her own preservation (following the Master's orders, as stated, but otherwise following a generally care free lifestyle.)
Thoughts of rewards can further drive her, whether in cash or otherwise – though she will get into trouble if she honestly believes she can get away with it.
Her playful and carefree personality, her absolute openness when it came to taking what she wanted – her general disregard for consequences, such as when she allowed Cordellia to escape her without a thought upon their first meeting (despite the girl bringing up the slayer), all reflect Willow’s resentment for being seen as the reliable and responsible one.
This is further emphasized by her occasional vindictiveness. Although it was not a major part of her personality, Willow enjoyed knowing that Giles was in a cage, unable to look away while she drained Cordellia; and she made a point of mentioning to Angel that the people he tried to save would soon be killed.
Another side effect of her newfound openness – as seen when she goosed her human self – was Willow’s sexuality. Her human side shifted from straight to lesbian, generally forming few relationships, all high in emotional content as much as physical. Her vampire side, on the other hand, was openly bisexual – and seemed to experience things mostly on a sensual level.
This is probably connected (in part) to the differences created by the wish that made her world. In mainstream buffyverse, Willow had friends who loved and cared for her, Buffy among them. In wishverse, she had parents who most likely (as in the mainstream verse) ignored her, and a Xander who (while human) probably continued to view her as nothing more than a friend, despite her occasionally obvious crush on him. This undoubtedly contributed to the shallow, overly-sexual relationships she formed, in her attempt to fill the void left by her parents, and never even partly filled by Buffy and her mother.
In the course of two episodes, she touched and kissed Xander, licked her human self’s neck, and even straddling Angel during their torture sessions, in many cases playfully mixing her playful/childish actions with her sexual touches, in the same way she did her sadism - emphasizing it to the world, as part of her emancipation from her formerly geeky self. (Her confidence in herself may have also led to some minor narcissism – although she didn’t generally show any adoration with her own personality or reflection, she seemed actively turned on by the thought of pairing up with her own duplicate. In fact, human-Willow was among the few she spoke to in a mostly adult fashion, actively trying to bring over to the dark side, and showing a fascination most likely fueled by her own rejection of her former humanity.)
This history also seemed to create a slight possessiveness; human Willow was generally willing to lend out to others – she didn’t seem to have too strict a sense of what was hers, although she could be very protective of things and people. Vampire Willow did not seem to get particularly jealous – she would share food, for example. But she would it subtly make clear that someone was hers, touching Xander in front of Cordelia while looking at her.
With her soul back intact, Willow’s personality shifts slightly back to her human selfs – she has all the same urges, the same basic speech pattern, but (importantly) she has the capacity to feel guilty; faced with what she used to do, she is actively ashamed by who she used to be, and is worried she may simply be a monster. This keeps her from attacking others.
Despite the shame of her urges, though, she is still a bit of a bedroom sadist – this being an outgrowth from her love for power. Though at first she will be too scared to embrace these impulses, she will slowly come to terms with who and what she is, gaining more confidence in herself and embracing her needs with more willing partners.
Abilities: (Are they a great hacker? An angry green giant? How about the walking dead themselves? Give us some idea of what they can do)
She has large amounts of strength, and was able to easily able to lift a large man with a single. She has heightened speed, agility, and reflexes enabling her to chase down prey, along with both resilience and healing, allowing them to endure and survive large amounts of injury; Willow is immune to all diseases, and can recover from most wounds fairly quickly (with even spinal damage healing in due course), although cut off body parts will not regrow and must be reattatched.
Her senses – Sight, smell, and hearing – are all heighted above the human norm, with her nose being particularly sensitive to the smell of blood; taste meanwhile is actually duller in most cases, having become specialized for the tasting of said blood.
She has good fighting skills, partially supernatural in origin.
Drinking the blood of enhanced humanoids would increase her powers, or grants other special benefits - though it would wear off before long.
Weaknesses: (Everyone has that trigger that makes them weak. What is your character's Kryptonite? Let us know some of those fears that the character would rather keep hidden.)
She can only be killed by a wooden stake through the heart, or decapitation, or prolonged exposure to sunlight; she is repulsed by garlic
On a less supernatural scale, Willow has a deep void in her heart – left by her parents’ neglect; since becoming a vampire, she has tried to fill it with mostly shallow connections (never letting anyone too close) and distracting herself from the ache in her heart.
With Xander dead, and her last connection to the outside world removed, she is in desperate need to make more connections – however shallow; but she is unwilling to admit the loneliness she feels.

Character Name:
Allen FrancisDoyleCanon: Angel the Series
Background: Born to a human mother Francis grew up as any Irish boy would, just with no idea that his father was a demon he just figured the guy to be some drunk that split and it didn't bother him much. Hell it inspired him to be a better person. He worked hard to get through school and into college when he met a beautiful woman while working as a volunteer at a soup kitchen, her name was Harriett and he feel hard for her. It was true love and the two were happy even if he treated her a bit like a child something that transferred from working with Children as he was working on his student teaching. Just after he got his teaching degree his 21st birthday passed and he and Harry talked about having children.
Later that night, well he found out Mama lied to him. After a coughing fit his face distorted Realizing what he was after he spoke to his mother his marriage and life feel apart because he could not handle what he was. Though Harry was willing to accept his change he was not. Leaving behind Ireland and his wife he went on the run trying to get away from the reality of what had happened.
He quit using the name Francis and stuck to his sir name from then on, shortly after arriving in a new town he was confronted by another Half-Brachen who claimed them family asking him for help. Doyle not wanting to be involved ignored the plea for help and tried to go to sleep, that was when he was hit with the 'gift' he calls a curse. A painful vision hit him of a massacre, the other Brachen demons slaughtered in his mind. He thought he was having a stroke, but when he went to go see if ti was real he was horrified to see it was very much real.
From that day he had the gift and worked with it to try and help people. Though he lost a year of his life he tries not to question too much about it just living his life the way he sees fit and helping those in need without trying to look like a hero. That was when he found Angel, The vampire with a soul. He spent a few months helping Angel to find his plight to help as the Powers that Be wished it. Soon though the happiness he had found with Angel and his beautiful
He was totally in love with herfriend and secritary Cordeilia. Was short lived as Doyle gave himself up to save an encampment of Brachen demons trying to escape being slaughtered and to keep Angel from dying. In the end he died a hero...Only he didn't stay dead. No, He woke up very confused a year or so later finding Angel and his friends had moved on and had new team mates so Doyle moved on so not to train wreak their lives.Personality: Doyle is a strange strange man, what does this mean? well He will talk about helping people but at the same time watch someone get beat up. A good example of this was when he spoke to Angel about helping others in need and an old homeless woman asked him for change he replied for her to get a job, as well as he tells two bar patrons violence never solves anything, and then punches one of them out, starting a bar brawl soon broken up by Angel. In short he will say one thing and then do just the opposite. He likes to appear like he doesn't care as much as he does, in fact he would rather no one know about his simple life as Francis Doyle the school teacher. He'd rather be known as Doyle the man in debt up to his eyes to demons who is just looking for his next drink.
It is at times when he shows he can be brave and compassionate that his true colors show themselves but he will quickly try to cover it up. He has a deep side and does care about the world but being the half demon he is and not liking that he just deals with life as it comes and follows his visions trying to seem like another drunken Irishmen.
Abilities:
Doyle received prophetic visions from The Powers That Be, which includes images of people in peril, names, places in which evil was present or threats the Powers wanted to be dealt with. These visions also caused Doyle a great pain, though his half-demon physiology prevented his brain from suffering real damage.
His half-Brachen demon physiology grants Doyle the ability to shift from human to demonic appearance - red eyes and green skin adorned with blue spikes - in which he had a heightened sense of smell and superior strength and stamina, the last of which allowed him to twist his head around in such a manner as to fake a broken neck, something that allowed himself and Angel to enact a plan against the Scourge. Regardless, Doyle rarely assumed his Brachen visage, preferring to remain human due to his discomfort with his demon heritage.
Weaknesses: Ale, dear good the booze. Doyle drinks which is to be expected but when he does sometimes he just becomes useless. He is also not a great fighter but he makes up for it in other areas. A big weakness is that he refuses to use his Brachen side if he can avvoid it as he dislikes that side of himself.

After a few more hits were thrown. They all stand and agree to co-operate, successfully bringing Loki back to the helicarrior. The peace doesn't lack long however. Tony finds out SHIELD has been using the tesseract to create weapons and the mind washed Barton attacks the helicarrior with aim to free Loki. Tony fixes the damage to the helicarrior but is unable to stop Loki from escaping. The damage to the team becomes obvious when they receive the news of Coulson's death. This drives him and the few others remaining to take down Loki. Whom now was using his own Stark Tower as a base. He flies back and removes his armour aiming to "threaten" Loki, whom throws Stark out a window. As he falls the Mark VII armour is deployed. Upon the Iron Man suit saving him from the fall a long battle begins, in which toward the climax Tony must guide a missile through the portal from which Loki's army are coming from. He takes out the Chitauri mothership, then falling back through the portal to Earth. He loses both power and consciousness in the suit. Hulk catches him to prevent him hitting the ground below but he is layer down and appears very much dead. But the hulk screams into his face and he wakes up quickly.
After these events and Thor taking Loki, with the tesseract in hand back to Asgard Bruce and Tony drive away. And Later he is seen with Pepper rebuilding Stark Tower.
Personality: (Now Give us at least 500 words, on what drives them to do what they do? Tell us their personality )
Tony Stark is an outgoing man who enjoys drinking and gambling. In his earlier days is quite the playboy, bringing home different women most nights. But despite this is a genius and possess's the capacity to become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics overnight. He is very aware of his own intelligence, and at times his own important.
An inventive mechanical engineering prodigy, Stark is constantly creating new technology and looking for ways to improve it. In the beginning he has little concern for the effect his weapons have on others. Later learning the dangers of his actions. However, for all his flaws, Tony is a good man at heart and wants to use his technology to better the world. Most his actions are done for others, even though at times it seems they are done to simply make him look good in the public eye. He eventually is trained in unarmed combat for when the situation demands it so he was later able to hold his own against Rhodey.
He stumbles off the straight and narrow with ease, become reckless and erratic. Especially when he believes his own life to end soon. He willingly heads himself directly into the crossfire at many points. He has great respect for his friends and allies. Any who cause them threat he will take down.
He later matures somewhat, being able to maintain what seems like a healthy relationship with Pepper Potts and express his feelings to her. However when working in a team he showers similar qualities as his earlier actions. Being reckless and at times very full of himself.
Unless around Banner whom he treats with a great deal of respect and regards him highly as a good friend. He tries to act like big events such as the death of Coulson do not affect him in order to look tough in front of others. He puts on a mask to hide his feelings from others unless you know him well.
Tony can be confusing for people to deal with, as even though he acts as such, when really bad events occur, and he feels blame falls on his shoulders, he will slump into a great depression, sometimes even threatening to take his own life. Another obvious trait he has in his relationship with alcohol which at times he knocks back like water. It has been pointed out few times, and he is considering at the moment a borderline alcoholic.
Abilities: (Are they a great hacker? An angry green giant? How about the walking dead themselves? Give us some idea of what they can do)
Tonys life is sustained by the Arc reactor in his chest which also powers his Iron Man suit.
The suit gives him:
Flight - It can reach speeds up to Mach 3 in mere moments with additional boosters on his back. It enables easy enemy evasion and the ability to remain stabilised while shooting in battle.
Strength - Inside the armour Tony is capable of lifted up to 20 tonnes. The armour also has the ability to punch through Stone walls, catch a mini van. And once even stun Thor when catching him off-guard.
Armour Systems - Remote assistances from J.A.R.V.I.S. manages the armours systems so it is at Starks command. The suit also has a HUD heads up display for navigation, power levels, armour and weapon status and vital signs. It even has a cellphone and computer systems built into the helmet. It has an onboard generator for emergencies and he can scan environments to help access the situation.
Durability - The suit is made of strong light weight titanium alloy with interlocked plates. There is also a chest plate which protects the Arc reactor. The armour can withstand the explosion of a tank shell.
Energy Conversion Power Recharge - The armour can absorb and convert or fare away energy sources. Such as heat, kinetic energy or energy from the planet itself.
Self Constrained Life Support System and Environmental Protection - The suit can complete seal itself in vacuums and underwater, providing it's own life support. It is also shielded against radiation.
Repulsers - A particle beam weapon in the gauntlets of the Iron Man suit. They can physically repel and break and repel both physical and energy based attacks.
Unibeam - A powerful version of repulser's which is located in his chest. However it requires a lot of power from the arc reactor and cannot be used often.
Lasers - Can cut through common metals with no apparent effort. But can drain power if used indefinitely.
Smart Mini Guns - Small guns in the shoulders which can target individuals and fire at a moments notice.
Reflexes - The armour has motors for movement. In flight it is shown to be extremely fast and responsive. Also is shown during fights.
Missiles - The armour holds a multi-fire adhesive grenade launcher in the upper arm. It also contains Anti-Tank, and Armour piercing rounds. Also hidden rockets are in the the booster pack on his back.
Weaknesses: (Everyone has that trigger that makes them weak. What is your character's Kryptonite? Let us know some of those fears that the character would rather keep hidden.)
His main weakness is the people around him. If he trusts a person betrayal or death of that person can knock him straight off course.
He cannot fight well with out his suit. After all he is still human, even with his combat training he couldn't last to long.
He also have high running emotions which can run him down a lot. Leading him into bouts of depression when a situation seems hopeless. His alcoholism has also had a toll on his health it seems. At time he grows tired with ease but most of the time he seems ok.

Her full title is Blue Lantern Sister Hannah Flowers.
Blue Lantern or Hannah Flowers works just fine.
Canon: (What fandom do they belong to?)
DC Green Lantern (She is an OC here)
Background:(Give us at least 500 words about your character's life.)
Hannah Flowers found herself sent to live with her God Mother when she was six years old. Her father had killed her mother thinking she had cheated on her with another man. At the time the older Nun had no idea what to do with the frightened child of her oldest friend but they grew to be something very much like a family. Hannah grew up under strict rules but learned to be compassionate to all people and to do her best for everyone believing that they are all deserving of God's love.
When she wanted to go on a ministry trip in Africa after her high school graduation her Godmother made her learn self-defense first. She wanted to be sure Hannah would be safe over seas. These skills served her well as a war lord attacked the camp Hannah was in seeking to random the American missionaries for money. She helped keep the women and children calm and as the three weeks passed while they were held prisoner Hannah was able to make them all hope for a rescue that did come their way.
She decided she wished to serve God after that and entered a convent to study to become a nun. For a full year she thought nothing would change until a Blue Lantern came to her about what happened on her missionary trip. It took a great deal of talking before she decided that she would do that.
It has been nearly three years since she left Earth and now she is ready for her first assignment to work in the sector Earth is in. She has been thinking that Earth is in need of Great Hope and plans to work on helping and healing people wherever she can.
Personality: (Now Give us at least 500 words, on what drives them to do what they do? Tell us their personality )
Hannah is a very kind and giving person. She can be thought of as a someone who workks best when she can take care of others. She is very positive thinking and will frequently use the Blue Lantern motto of "All will be well" to describe a situation. She expects that no matter how bad things will get in the end there will be a brighter future for people to look forward to and she will help bring this future about.
She is Catholic but of a very non-tradtional nature. She will not judge anyone based on what they are but instead on their actions and what she discovers about their nature. Most of this has largely due to her time in space.
Keep in mind that she is at her heart a healer who can fight. She is willing and able to fight but if she hurts someone she will feel very guilty about it and if she can she will ask for forgiveness. Also note that Hannah is very shy and unsure as she grew up in a very sheltered life.
Abilities: (Are they a great hacker? An angry green giant? How about the walking dead themselves? Give us some idea of what they can do)
Abilities:
Blue Lantern Ring: While running solo all Hannah can do is fly and shield herself with a protective aura. She can also negatively affect rings running at the opposite end of the emotion spectrum. Hannah is unique for a Blue Lantern as she can tap into the will of more stronger-willed people for a short tme to use the powers she would have acess to around a GL partner. She also can heal other people while using her ring. Her ring can also be used for detecting sources of life and to communicate with others.
With a Green Lantern near by she has a host of other powers. She can also make blue constructs so long as she has a green 'partner'. She can also 'super charge' a green lantern ring.
Self:
Hannah herself is a source of calm in a storm. She has extensively studied theology and finds strength in her faith using it to help calm other people down without making them feel judged.
Ironically for someone who wanted to become a nun to help other people Hannah is well trained in self defense by a former Marine so while she may not like to fight she still can.
Weaknesses: (Everyone has that trigger that makes them weak. What is your character's Kryptonite? Let us know some of those fears that the character would rather keep hidden.)
Hannah is naive about the world around her as she was cloistered away between both where she studied to become a nun and Odym where she was trained as a Blue Lantern. Because of this she is just very quick to trust people at their word.
She is also very shy and awkward with people simply because she doesn't know how to act since she's spent so much time isolated from them.
She is also human and without her ring is just as prone to injury or illness.
Her ring can NOT detect zombies or other creatures infected by any of the Umbrella viruses if they are technically dead.

Tanis Half Elven
Date: 2012-08-05 04:59 am (UTC)‡ Player Information ‡
Name: Nicky
Are you over 18: 32 better be old enough
Contact: notmannotelf on aim
Character Name: Tanthalas "Tanis Half-Elven" Kanan
Canon: DragonLance
Background:
Tanis is the product of an Elven mother and Human father. His mother died when he was young, losing her will to live, she basically held on until he was born then wasted away. Her brother in law, the leader of the Qualanesti elves, took him in raising him as one of his own.
When he was in his ‘teens’ he met Flint Fireforge who was a Dwarven blacksmith / trader, that made a stop in Qualinost once a year to mend things for the Elves, and make wooden toys to give to the children. When Tanis was framed for a murder, he left with Flint, and because of the schooling as a diplomat’s child he became Flint’s business partner, running the financial side of things while Flint was the artist.
The two moved to Solace along the way meeting Tas, a Kender who even though his race are ‘annoyances’ in the world of Krynn, he became a good friend to the pair.
In Solace Tanis became friends with the children of two knights, Sturm Brightblade, and Kitiara Uth Matar. Through Kit he met Raistlin Majere and his twin Caramon.
The companions were inseparable until they decided it was time to see the world on their own. Tanis in the five years they separated found out about his mother and his real history. Though he’s secretive about this when he’s with his friends five years later. But because of his travels he grows a beard to look less Elven, since most places he traveled weren’t Elven friendly.
When they meet again at the Inn of the Last Home in Solace, Tanis was really hoping to see Kitiara, whom he had feelings for since they were younger. She’s the only one of the companions that doesn’t show up.
Their meeting is disrupted by a religious fanatic that tries to take Raistlin and Goldmoon’s staves. The campaign including Goldmoon and her lover Riverwind, escape out the back of the inn, and are forced to flee Solace, intent at first to get Goldmoon and her staff to Haven. Those plans fell to the wayside when they were attacked by Draconians sending them on a wild chase through Darken Wood, meeting the unicorn in charge of the said forest and flying on gryffins to Xak Tsaroth, along the way seeing the village Goldmoon and Riverwind were from burned to the ground by the evil dragon armies.
Getting to the ruins of the fortress city Goldmoon received disks from Mikshal that put the campaign in more danger, Tanis offered to split the party up, but they stayed together feeling they should finish the quest they started out on.
This led to going back home to Qualinost where Tanis met his childhood friend Laurana again. The elven maiden had been forced to grow up, the armies threatening her lands. When the campaign left to try to stop them and save Qualenost Tanis realized how much he still loved her, even though his heart also belonged to Kitiara, the older sister of the twins.
While in the Sla-Mori under Pax Tharkas, Tanis became the owner (by grand design or chance?) of Wyrmslayer, the ancient blade of the first ruler of the Qualinesti elves. He helped come up with the plan to rescue the humans who were being used as slaves, in the fortress, helping to lead them to freedom in the mountains.
The escapees created a new life in the valley they found, Tanis and the others being heroes stay there a while helping to make sure they’re safe. He’s part of Riverwind’s personal honor guard for the wedding to Goldmoon, both of them choosing a wedding ceremony that mixed the old ways of their people with the ways of the old gods.
(And this is canon wise where Tanis is taken from)
Personality:
While Tanis was raised most of his childhood as an elf he hasn’t gone through the customary ceremony proclaiming him as an Elven adult. He feels this isn’t needed since he’s only half.
While he hates killing and fighting he realizes that there are times that it is needed, cases in point are when he rejoined the campaign after their five years apart, he had to fight hobgoblins, draconian and the dragon armies to ensure peace for everyone not only that he cared about, but all of Krynn. He is a good fighter with a sword, and marksman with a bow.
He is a born leader, even though he does not really wish the part. He knows that he makes mistakes and accepts them as well as the mistakes of those who follow him. He feels responsible for everyone in his party. Though it’s probably because of his natural ability to lead not only his own kind, but being able to convince others that he is worth following is why Kith-Kanan, an Elven king of legend, gave him his sword Wyrmslayer when he was in need of a sword in the Sla-Mori.
He also seems to attract people of power to him without meaning to, this is proven just with who he travels with. Each of the companions he travels with have made a footprint in the history of Krynn. They all helped fight off the dark gods, restoring the balance of power to the world, as well as helping to restore faith the old gods for some time before the gods left Krynn for good.
Tanis has a way of making others listen to him without losing his cool. He even manages to tame a Kender, a race that usually does what they want. Tasslehoff Burrfoot usually will listen to Tanis if orders are given, knowing that keeping near the half elf will turn into one hell of an adventure. He earned the respect of Raistlin when the man was a child, and even though Raist won’t follow him blindly, he does trust the man’s advice if it’s needed. Tanis in turn will listen to the magi’s advice, and even though he might not always like it he does take it into consideration when plans are being made.
Tanis’s love life may be complicated after all two loves of his life for a while, but he was young and torn between the two halves of himself. Both women though were strong in their own ways, which kind of explains his type. Though it’s unlikely he would ever add to the list. Kitiara was physically strong being a warrior, and strong willed, she did not feel like she needed a man to protect her though she didn’t mind one to be beside her and keep her company. In a way I feel this love on Tanis’s part was one sided since Kit used people all her life to get what she needed. Then there was Laurana who had a strong will and determination to not give up. Tanis saw some of this when she fought along side the other heroes, she could have given up at any time when she was losing, but she was determined not to let Tanis down. That kind of devotion from someone can’t be forced to be given, but has to be given freely.
While he’s a leader of men Tanis doesn’t feel like he is a royal leader. He does not take the loyalty given to him as blind faith instead he works hard to earn any respect he gets on his own terms. Makes him a better leader and loyal friend when he’s earned that friendship. Though double cross him and he will not forget it. He may forgive over time, but really he has a longer life time than most humans.
Abilities:
Weaknesses: He feels that his mixed blood is both a blessing and a curse. He will not take a life unless it's absolutely needed. This goes for hunting as well, he will not go sport hunting, though he will take out small animals or a deer in order to survive. His body cannot live on fruits and vegies alone after all.

Character Name: Jane Foster
Canon: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Background:
Jane Foster was born to George and Alice Foster, being their only child.
From an early age, Jane was an inquisitive and lively child, though her curiosity and stubbornness did at times alienate her from her peers, as did moving around due to her father’s job in the military. As a high-in-demand professor and instructor, she was not ever worried about him going to battle, but it did frustrate her to have to move just when she was starting to settle down and get used to a new area and school.
Still, it gave her a lot of experiences that others wouldn’t have—such as living in different areas and seeing lots of sights, something her mother loved to do each time they moved. Overall, Jane preferred the colder climates and living on the ocean. When she was seven, she and her family were moved to New Mexico, and her heart was captured by the clear desert skies once they drove far enough away from the city smog and lights.
No one knew that with this, and her mother telling her stories behind the constellations and other related myths (and giving her a love for science fiction too), it would inspire her to seek more knowledge about what was beyond their atmosphere. She spent much of the next three years looking through telescopes, learning all she could from the books at the library, begging her parents to go stargazing with her, and dreaming of the day when she could be with other scientists discovering new things and exploring the universe.
Even when they moved away to more congested areas, this interest became a life-long passion and life calling, no one could persuade her to another career.
Overall, her life was ordinary for a military brat. She had her friends and her bullies, the boys who would tease her, and the teachers who would be at a loss with her intelligence and curiosity, even when her parents put her into private school. This caused her to keep to herself for the most part, withdrawing into the night skies even more, but she always remained close to her parents who encouraged her to keep doing what she loved.
She and her mother were a lot alike in their stubbornness and love for learning, though her mother was more along the English Major rather than the science major. Alice was always able to cheer Jane up when she was frustrated about something or when she had what her father called “girl problems”: friends, crushes, and other social mysteries. She was the one Jane turned to when she needed a more delicate way to go about something than charge head in and screw the consequences (her father’s answer for everything).
George was there for her when she needed someone to tell her to stand up for herself, and being a military man, he expected her to not give up or let someone to put her down, knowing that she was made of tougher stuff than others would have liked to believe. He was also a great resource for her, introducing her to professors and scientists who wouldn’t scoff at her ideas and who more than enjoyed answering her questions, and providing her with “she’s my daughter and I say she can come in here” clearance to technology others wouldn’t usually be allowed to see, and books, of course.
Though he never told her, a main force behind him encouraging her passion for science stemmed from some of his colleagues suggestion he convince her to take a different route and leave the science to the men. It was a mixture of personal insult and slighted pride for her, but he told them to shut it and frequently rubbed her awards in their faces.
Her life made a drastic turn when her mother was diagnosed with an intense form of lung cancer despite no one around them smoking. The doctors were baffled by it and it hurt Jane and her father more than they would like to admit that there was little they could do.
For a while, her grades and friendships suffered, and her father refused to be moved again until she made improvements or died. Most of her time, when Jane wasn’t in school, was spent in the hospital by her mother’s side, doing what she could to keep all their spirits up. But just as suddenly as it was diagnosed, her mother died not too long after she turned sixteen, the infection spreading to nearly the rest of her body despite treatment.
Before she died, Alice made Jane promise not to lose sight of her dreams and to do her best to keep to the top of her studies. Two years later, Jane was graduating at the top of her class and going into Harvard and MIT with majors physics and astronomy, developing skills (and getting degrees in) computer science and engineering on scholarships and her own money from working during summer vacation. Soon, she was baffling the scientific community with her discoveries and theories, one of them being a new comet she saw through the Large Binocular Telescope in Arizona on a “field trip”.
Being the one to discover it, she got to name it: Alice.
Moving onto more theoretical work, Jane bought a trailer and returned to New Mexico, sort of reliving the nights when her family went stargazing. By her side were long-time family friend and Erik who was an astrophysicist himself and a professor of Theoretical Astrophysics and Darcy, who was their very keen and observational friend and assistant, even though she was studying for political science. It was about a year into their work that there was an odd magnetic storm and she ran over someone with her truck.
Personality:
The two most vital parts of Jane’s personality is her curiosity and stubbornness.
Her curiosity for the world and how it works is the driving force of nearly everything she does. Since she was little, she loved looking up at the stars and asking questions, learning answers through others or her own means. While some kids took to sports or art, she took to books and studying with an unrivaled passion—and anything that was up in the sky was her favorite subject.
Quick to pick up information and open-minded about anything that could be learned, she was either loved or hated by her teachers through her school years, mostly because they enjoyed a child who paid attention or were at a loss with all of her questions.
Some people contemplated that she often went beyond mere curiosity and interest—it was like she had to know every detail about whatever knowledge she was seeking at the time. They’re not wrong. It’s a pure and honest kind of curiosity: she’s not learning for some angle or agenda, or for anyone besides herself and the personal satisfaction of knowing. As she enjoys learning, it’s not likely that she will ever stop.
However, while some people encouraged her, like her parents did, there were others who did the exact opposite. This is where her stubbornness comes in.
Growing up with such a huge appetite for knowledge earned her a lot of attention, not all of it positive. Many of her classmates thought her off for being so smart at an early age, and didn’t quite understand why she liked math of all things, or enjoyed being behind a book than on the playground. Some teachers would dismiss her questions, saying that there wasn’t enough time to answer them or that they had to be saved for another lesson. Needless to say, this caused endless frustration for her when she tried to explain herself or tried to get the question answered—making her seem disruptive at times when she would get into arguments about anything, not caring who she was arguing with.
Instead of letting this discourage her, she often steeled her resolve and moved on, remembering how her father told her that holding onto anger didn’t help anyone. She quickly learned which teachers would answer her or dismiss her, and alienated herself from her classmates who didn’t seem to understand her through lack of maturity or because they just didn’t like the subjects she enjoyed. This stubbornness became a part of her by the time she was in middle school, a definition of who she was.
She never took no for an answer, never let herself give up on a project or theory, even if she had to set them aside for a later date to work on it. If someone said she couldn’t do something, it just made her all that more determined to prove them wrong.
Underneath this bullheaded scientist is a much simpler girl: she likes to hang out with her friends and enjoys phone calls from her dad, likes good food, works hard for what she has and has done in her life, and likes not worrying about where her rent will come from.
Thanks to her somewhat military upbringing, she has a strong sense of city and honor that is displayed when she goes to check on Thor after administering him to the hospital despite him being a total stranger and when she refused SHIELD’s hush money. She would never betray a friend or someone who earned her trust, nor would she do anything without a good reason—and even then she wouldn’t cross certain lines.
The thought of war, torturing someone, revenge, and vendettas are concepts she doesn’t fully understand, having not really experienced any of them from either side, but she does understand that they exist and sometimes are necessary, as unfair as they are. Some would say that this makes her a pacifist, but they didn’t see her back before she could control her anger and the impulse to tackle someone to the ground.
Jane is far from perfect, though. More often than not, she lets her curiosity go too far and she gets into trouble for it, from asking the wrong person the wrong questions to going where she isn’t supposed to go, like private government facilities. She rarely lets a question drop and as said before, has interrupted many a class or lecture. While she has never been arrested, there are quite a few people who know not to allow her access to places if they don’t want “an outsider” to gain insider information.
Jumping into something too quickly is another one of her vices, be it a project she can’t quite handle with all of the other projects on her plate, or getting herself into a dangerous situation for the sake of gathering data. She has little to no fear at times, and will say or do things that a more cautious person wouldn’t dream of doing. So far, she has been lucky that her worst injury was a broken leg from a misstep on a small plateau, but it worries the people who care about her greatly, as it seems like she has no sense of self-preservation and that she thinks that there are more important things than her life.
With her recent interactions with gods, super soldiers, and government agencies, this rashness and lack of self preservation has just come out more with the risks she is willing to take for what she wants and for others—though she is learning to control these impulses and make better, more careful decisions. It’s an odd process.
When she is not getting into trouble from it, her curiosity has her studying and observing well into the night, skipping means, and drinking too much coffee. She burns out from time to time, and is lucky that she has Erik and Darcy there to remind her that she is a human and not some sort of perpetual motion machine. Not that she has ever pushed herself too far, but there have been times where she has exhausted herself.
Jane also has a big, big heart that she would like to keep tightly wrapped up and hidden away, knowing how easily and badly she could be hurt or manipulated, but she has yet to be really able to. At most, she knows when to be suspicious and cautious of people, but if someone is in danger or needs help, she is unable to say no and not lend a hand, and if someone lies well enough, she’ll fall for it. Her faith in humanity is almost unwavering, and despite betrayals from friends and coworkers alike, she stubbornly holds onto the ideal that people will do what is right, and that if given a choice, they will choose the better path. Not that she has met too many people who hold themselves up to this standard.
She tries to do what she can to not become jaded as more and more people prove that they are not always good and do not always prove to be trustworthy. She does want to be able to trust people without worry, but she is slowly becoming more pessimistic towards others, guarding her heart more closely as time goes on. All of this results in a bundle of insecurities towards friendship and romance, and making her tendency to give second chances and the benefit of the doubt all the odder.
Thor, during the short time he spend with her on earth, has given her back a lot of her faith in her work by just crash landing in the middle of the desert. His existence proves that everything she dreamed of when she was little were true and that all of the sacrifices she made were not in vain—that there were other worlds and peoples out there, and that there was a way to reach and meet them. She now has her drive and focus back, increased tenfold now, and she’ll be forever thankful for meeting him.
Still, her lingering trust issues will undoubtedly affect any future relationship that becomes “serious” in her book, no matter who it is with.
Abilities:
Jane, as far as super human powers go, does not have anything extraordinary. All in all, she is a typical human being—if you don’t count her mind and her stubbornness.
Having quite a few degrees from various universities and making her own equipment out of scrap metal and old computers, it is obvious that she is quite intelligent and resourceful. The main skill sets that she puts on her resume include welding, computer programming (in about nine different languages), engineering, telecommunications, and a wide knowledge of mathematics, physics, space, astronomy, and the equipment needed to collect various data like radiation, x-ray, electromagnetism, radio waves, etc.
She can also drive and survive under extreme conditions, is good at networking and debate, knows automobile repair, and has a odd bad habit of running gods over with her truck.
Weaknesses:
Being human, Jane has a lot of weaknesses—she gets tired, gets hungry, has moods, doesn’t heal especially fast, can die and get sick, and likes her creature comforts. But when it comes to other weaknesses, she is a sucker for knowledge. Offer it, and chances are that she won’t be able to resist that temptation. If you are also someone who needs help, then she is going to give it to you despite the consequences she’ll face. Oh, and there is chocolate.

She was raised in an atmosphere of xenophobia, exacerbated by her father Magneto's Holocaust experiences and general disdain of humans.
When she was eight, her father gave up on helping her with her growing power and anger problems, and locked her away in a human run insane asylum in upstate New York. There, unable even to move her hands most of the time, she was left to rot except for occasional visits from Charles Xavier, who sought unsuccessfully to treat her deepening trauma and obsessive hatred of her father. This Hellish situation continued until she was fifteen, when the shapeshifting mutant Mystique released her and attempted to bring her into the fold of her Brotherhood of Mutants.
In spite of the presence of her obnoxious brother, whom she viewed as having betrayed her by doing nothing to help during the years she was locked up, Wanda worked with the Brotherhood for a while, training under the witch Agatha Harkness to learn to control her powers. But her obsessions drove her to track down her father in search of revenge--something she would attempt several times before finally nearly killing him during a battle with the robotic Sentinels.
Desperate to stop her attacks, Magneto lured her to a secret base and captured her. He used the telepath Mastermind to rewrite her memories, replacing the asylum horror and her subsequent hunt of Magneto with memories of a happy and loving relationship. Magneto then released Wanda to a "rescue" by her friends (well, one acquaintance and the romantically-obsessed Toad). Her brother was complicit in her memory wipe, and made sure that neither Toad nor anyone else mentioned anything of Wanda's past to her, to keep from disturbing the memory alteration.
Wanda and her brother later participated in a gigantic battle with the world-conquering mutant Apocalypse, joining forces with the rest of the Brotherhood, the X-men and several other mutants. This was a catastrophic event for her young psyche; not only did she end up working with the X-men to save the world, but also rescued her father. This was her first taste of (genuine) heroism. According to the precognitive experiences of Charles Xavier, described at the end of the series, her destiny was to join the American defense force SHIELD along with the rest of the Brotherhood. But that left several questions: how did she go from a punk kid with some maybe heroic leanings to someone who heroes for a living? Did she ever backslide into villainy? And what would happen when her memory was restored?
She found out after dying on a mission for her father at the age of seventeen. Her "afterlife" consisted of a prison sentence aboard an interdimensional craft known as the Barge. There, surrounded by beings from all sorts of other worlds, she was forced to go through a program of rehabilitation aimed at making sure she did not become evil or insane. Unfortunately her experiences there were largely traumatic--including the return of her true memories. She made a few friends, and with their support managed to turn her life around. However, she remains bitter over her life experiences, and actually fled her world so that she would never have to deal with her abusers again.
Personality: Wanda is a basically good person who has been through Hell and has been dumped into a strange world alone except for her dog, Fozzie. She is bitter and sad, and angry about it, and copes largely by immersing herself in magical study and practice, caring for her dog, and various forms of meditation. She also smokes what is probably too much cannabis, though she rarely gets drunk and never tries anything else. Wanda is shy and distrustful of strangers, drawing most of her confidence from the fact that she can utterly destroy most opponents with her powers. She has been disappointed by people so many times that she pretty much expects it, though she has come to realize that a rare few are actually worth her trust.
The two things she is most proud of are also the two things she is most secretive about; her magical knowledge, and her mutant power. Her magical knowledge is the result of two and a half years' general teaching, six months' instruction in protection spells, and a lot of independent study. She possesses two spellbooks filled with the spells she copied down and is still struggling to master. In reality, because of the nature of her powers, she does not actually need the spells, but she is always paranoid about her mutant power failing her at a key moment--something that was always happening on the Barge. Also, because her power essentially makes her a magical "hacker" capable of formulating her own spells, she looks at traditional magic for clues as to handle magic more elegantly. Normally, she is very subtle in the use of her powers, but if sufficiently enraged, she is capable of bringing down a great deal of chaos-magic-powered destruction. She avoids killing, but will curse people who hurt her without hesitation.
Wanda's goals in life are twofold; master her powers, and make a comfortable place for herself in the world. She does have a heroic streak, and can be very sympathetic, but ultimately she is too focused right now on healing and empowering herself, and may need serious coaxing to help out against Umbrella. Once she recovers somewhat she will be much more eager to make certain that others are not victimized the way that she was. Meanwhile, she is a bit morally grey; she has made a pile of seed money by using her power to clean out a casino or two, she has no problem with buying and smoking pot, and if need be she will cause serious home in her own defense. She is eighteen but indulges in a bit of underage drinking. She holds many laws and social mores in disdain, despises big corporations and dislikes the wealthy. Politically she is all over the map, with a strong anarchic streak but a lot of practical attitudes on matters like civil rights and birth control. She doesn't view herself as human and has trouble relating to normal people, but she acknowledges everyone's right to live, and live relatively free.
Wanda's trauma has left her with a terrible temper and a distrust of authority figures. Her pride will not let her give up, but she feels constantly out of place in any world, and is subject to bouts of depression. She will tend to hide her pain and withdraw when this happens. However, she does have hope that she will eventually recover, find happiness and make some kind of positive impact on the world she's now chosen as home.
Abilities: Wanda is a powerful mutant capable of large or small scale alterations in reality that generally fall under the realm of "chaos magic". Her powers are fueled by raw magic mixed with her innate psychic ability. Reality alteration effects shown in the series include bringing down whole buildings on top of things, melting and reshaping objects, obliterating objects, counteracting another's powers to make them temporarily powerless, and a variety of magical effects mostly centered around hexes, protection spells and various forms of concealment and distraction. She is also very, very good at glitching out machines and computer systems and inflicting massive Murphy's Law on people.
Weaknesses: Her powers are limited by line of sight, and her hands must be free to gesture in order to activate them. Although she has trained for a year in hand to hand combat and has a very large, well trained guard dog, she can be hurt and heals slowly, just like a normal human.
Sample:Wanda opened up the door to her room in the Brotherhood house and looked out onto the hallway of the Barge. Her eyes widened and she looked up and down the corridor quickly, noticing a few people walking by. She almost grabbed one of them to demand what the Hell was going on, but her voice stuck in her throat each time. Damn it. Unwilling to let her nervousness show around a bunch of strangers, she set her jaw, locked her door, pocketed the key and started walking around.
She did so methodically, going from one end of the floor to the other, peering into the public rooms with that same thoughtful scowl fixed on her face. Striding along in her big stompy boots, she tried to keep her shoulders straight and look like she belonged and completely knew where she was going. But her blue eyes tracked around nervously as she moved from area to area. Finally, she found the elevator, and decided to explore the rest of the floors.

‡ Character Information ‡
Character Name: Lei Corbeau
Canon: Original Character
Background:
Lei’s father was Louisiana native, her mother was Chinese American, the two having met while in college. When her mother went back home he followed, not wanting to lose her. Both were there to study medicine, Jacob wanted to open a small clinic in the small town he was from, since the nearest medical facility was a good hour away. Mei’s interest was more to natural medicine, she wanted to try to find healthier ways of curing people without the chemicals, which almost had her laughed out of school.
When they left school both went back to his hometown. Mei continued her research, helping in the clinic when needed, the houseboat that the pair shared for the clinic and home soon had a deck covered with plants that were not only medicinal, but also decorative.
Lei was born ten months after they got married in a simple ceremony. Her grandparents and parents both doted over her.
When she was three her mother had the twins, Xian and Davy. Lei was protective over the pair from the start loving the idea of being an older sister. She wouldn’t let anyone she didn’t trust near the two. Sometimes this even included family and family friends. If she felt they were hurting her baby siblings she would kick and bite, much to her parents’ disappointment.
They were old enough Lei taught them to swim, the three of them would race to the neighbor’s houseboat about fifty feet away to play with them all the time. Jen and Micha, the neighbors kids were slightly older than Lei, and treated the trio like they were younger siblings. The five of them were inseparable all the way through school, Lei, Jen and Micha always seeming to instantly fall into the bodyguard role for the twins keeping bullies away from them. The twins themselves were smarter than the trio, and by the time they were in fourth grade they were helping Jen and Micah with their Junior high homework, helping the older kids understand the math and science. The twins would never out right do the homework for them, but could explain it in ways the kids could understand.
This help actually helped Lei when she started applying for colleges. Her little siblings at this time had surpassed her, both going to MIT. The thought of them out there on their own had her push herself more so she could get out of the bayou and somewhere where she could help them if they ever needed it.
When Lei got into college it was out of state, unlike her parents she wanted to go into law enforcement. While she didn’t get the best grades in her classes she made enough of an impression to get recruited into the FBI soon after graduation. The twins had gone into medicine as well as robotics. They said they were trying to build better cybernetics for soldiers who came back from wars.
Lei got letters and emails from them every now and then, mostly to tell her and the family that they were fine since they didn’t leave school much. The last time she saw them was her graduation from the academy. She didn’t know that the twins had pulled some strings to make sure their sister would be taken care of.
She was partnered up with an older man while stationed in Pennsylvania. The two worked on odd cases, most of them unexplained, Mike seeming to draw that kind of work to start with. Lei was kind of placed with him to keep an eye on him, which she didn’t mind, she enjoyed the work. Some of the cases were Mutant related, which caused Lei to look at her siblings in a different light, wondering if they possibly could be with their intelligence. Some of the case files had hinted that some possibly could work together as one person.
Two years as a Fed she got a call from Micha. The local police were accusing her parents of illegal activity. Didn’t help her brother and sister were missing as well. They had been out of communication for the last four months. Lei took it as they got wrapped up in some project. Taking leave she went to try to help her parents, figuring if the twins heard they’d jump on the first plane home to help as well.
Getting back home she saw a deputy throwing her mother’s plants, all of which were perfectly legal to grow, off the houseboat into the swamp. Her mother was trying to get them to stop. Lei stepped between the deputy and her mother, managing to convince him to bring her legal court orders for the charges against her parents. What she didn’t know is that her parents had managed to make enemies with one of the crime syndicates in the area by aiding someone of an enemy group when they had gotten wounded. Not that it would matter to her, she knew her parents treated the clinic as neutral territory helping anyone who needed it.
When the deputy came back he had fifteen people with him. She managed to get her parents onto the airboat telling them to get away, while she held her ground against them, in the process someone shot a gas tank blowing up the houseboat.
Lei woke up three months later, alive at least, but hospitalized. Her partner was waiting by her bedside when she woke, telling her that her parents had been killed. Her twin siblings had been found while she had been out. Both of whom were okay, and on their way to the hospital. Lei had also found out the explosion had caused enough damage to her right arm and both legs that they had been unable to save them. From her knees down her legs were gone, her arm was gone from her shoulder.
When Micha showed up with Xian and Davy the pair set to work showing why they had gone into hiding. The cybernetic limbs were still bulky, but the pair had been working on a government funded project, helping wounded soldiers replace missing limbs with ones that almost moved like the real deal. They had gotten permission from their bosses to use Lei as the first test subject if she agreed to it.
Took them an hour and a half of explaining for her to agree to it, it would give her a chance to still be able to do the work she loved to do, as well as get the men that had taken out their parents.
Took her a few months to get used to the new limbs; which could be removed if needed for repairs, it wasn’t soon after when the syndicate found where the trio happened to be hiding, someone had found out they were the reason that Lei was back on her feet. Lei despite her siblings wanting to protect her sent them ahead while she stayed back with her partner in order to try to get the group to stop following Xian and Davy. Micha went with them to act as a bodyguard and communication if needed, he had contacts with several underground groups that could keep the two safe until they managed to get back into their labs behind government security without the government having to step in too much more.
In return for protecting the twins Lei was asked to quit the FBI officially, though she was slipped into a small group who were specialized in dealing with situations that the FBI and CIA couldn’t handle. Officially she was a retiree. While with the new group she was given other training, and time to fully recover from her injuries. The tech of the group worked on perfecting the cybernetic limbs she now had, making them lighter, though she still set off alarms in government buildings.
Now she does odd jobs here and there doing her best to stay off the radar, though does make things interesting when dressing for the summer, after all chrome plating is a little noticeable if you wear a two piece.
Personality:
Lei has a soft spot for kids ever since she was young. She had seen too many kids come into the clinic because of someone hurting them she was determined to try to help as many as she could. She protects her siblings first and foremost knowing that they’re far too smart for living in the small town. If she’s working a case with kids she does her best to make sure they’re protected, even at times better than watching her partner’s own back. This causes problems sometimes, but so far they’ve made it through okay.
She takes her job seriously even though some of their cases have been ‘crack’ cases. She may not be protective over her partner, but she does have his back when he needs it. She does make waves with her superiors usually because she tends to do what’s right for innocent people and not what’s right for the Bureau or for police departments. It’s part of the reason why after her accident she was put in the special team, to try to keep the waves she made a little more under the radar.
When the accident happened she thought she lost everything with the disappearance of her twin siblings being a few months before hand. There was time she almost thought about committing suicide, only thing that stopped her from it was a phone call from Micha telling her that he had found the twins. By the time he and Jen arrived with the twins she had managed to pull herself together so as to not let them know how much her current condition was killing her.
Of course she wasn’t able to fully hide it from them, the twins knew her too well, and within two hours she was taken back into surgery, by the time she woke she had become a government project.
The new situation had her confused when she woke up, though since now she had to deal with getting used to a different weight, not to mention the off balance center she now had no thanks to her new arm. The twins apologized for it, after all they had used the prototypes in order to give her mobility back. It took a while but she’s now got almost as much mobility as she had before, though she’s still working on the faster speeds she can run at, stopping…. Can still be a bit of a problem.
Since the accident with her being unable to do things that she enjoyed as a kid, after all it’s a little hard to go swimming for as long as you’re used to with an extra hundred and fifty pounds. And even though they boost her speed and strength they’re not that useful trying to navigate a swamp for hunting or even fishing, she learned the fishing bit the hard way killing a fish as she was trying to remove the hook.
With the free time she has being taken off active duty, she’s been taking to learning more firearms, and some more hand to hand combat skills, learning to keep control over her robotic arm so that she doesn’t hurt anyone by mistake with it.
Abilities:
Naturally she's agile, and quick thinking.
With her cybernetics her speed and limited strength is enhanced. Speed's fast enough to keep up a fast pace of 25 mph for a burst of 20 seconds, the strength in her one arm is 5000 psi crushing strength. She's unable to lift more than normal weight due to her body still being mostly flesh and bone (Her skeleton is still organic despite the enhancements)
She's been trained in fire arms as well as some other hand held weapons, she favors a knife in a fight if she has to get close up.
Weaknesses:
Ever try swimming with weights strapped to your legs and one arm? Yeah not gonna happen.
Her family are another weakness, if she gets word that they're in trouble she'll be on the first plane to go get them.
The power cells that run her artificial limbs have a limited time limit. Usually it's at least a day, giving her time to get somewhere to recharge, but it could be a problem on a mission without a nearby outlet.
Metal detectors! Enough said.

Background:
☣First, let me be clear in stating that this Jill Valentine is taken from the Resident Evil films. This includes Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Afterlife and Resident Evil: Retribution. This means that, through her application, there will be spoilers, in which I apologize for now.
Second, some of this information is headcanon for the simple fact that the films do not focus on Jill (except for Retribution), and as such we do not know a great deal about her character.☣
Jill Valentine had been a rising member in the S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Squad) organization until a mission in the Arklay Mountains ruined her reputation. During this particular mission, she had gained insight into a classified "bioweapon weakness" which was said to be a "cranial flaw". At first, the Umbrella Corporation had planned to bribe her to keep any and all information she found to herself. If she did not appeal to their demands, she was to be "neutralized". Well, Jill, not at all ready to give into Umbrella's demands, decided she was going to try and go to the higher-ups in attempts to form an investigation against Umbrella. Her superiors had suspended her from duty, concluding that her accusations were caused due to PTSD, or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Upon hearing news of Raccoon City being attacked by the undead via her Police Radio, she immediately heads to the station to warn everyone there to evacuate the city, that she herself would be doing the same. Once arriving at the Raven's Gate Bridge, at this point the only way out of the city, she came to find all of it's inhabitants crammed up against the barrier, waiting for the authorization to be released. Agitated, she attempted to help the already present S.T.A.R.S. members in calming the crowd. All was well until an elderly man collapsed and reanimated, contaminating her friend, Peyton, and thus ruining any and all chances of escaping the city via the bridge.
She, Peyton, and a television reporter, Terri Morales, withdrew in attempts to find shelter. Eventually, they arrived at the Raven's Gate Church where they were met by a rather crazed and mortified man, a deranged minister, and three very hungry Lickers. The lickers had successfully killed off the deranged fellow when he wondered off on his own in fear, just after Jill had killed the minister and his zombified wife. Having returned main part of the Chapel, she, Peyton, and Terri were boxed in. Seeing no other way out, Jill and Peyton attempted to kill the lickers with little success of their own. Instead, they were saved by Alice in her spectacular show of quick thinking and very good marksmanship. This introduction left very little room for Jill to be impressed, if only because Alice did what she could not.
Leaving the Church, Alice explained to the group what was happening in Raccoon City while walking through the City's cemetery. It is here that Peyton shows signs of the virus spreading, causing Alice to pull her gun on him, and Jill to pull her gun on Alice. Alice explains what is happening to Peyton, stating that it would be easier to kill him now. Jill refuses, saying that when and when the time comes, she'll "take care of it". Soon after their little confrontation, the dead begin to rise from their graves, attacking the group. Alice and Jill attempt to fight off as many as possible before deeming it useless, choosing instead to retreat to safety.
While wandering around the city, the group receive a phone call from a Dr. Charles Ashford, one of Umbrella's leading geneticists. He explains to them that Raccoon City is to be wiped out via a nuke at sunrise, and that he could provide them with safe passage from the city, at a cost. They would need to first save his daughter, Angela Ashford, who was in hiding in the Raccoon City Junior School. Having no choice, they accepted his deal and began to make their way to the school.
On their way to the school, the group is confronted by the Nemesis, an encounter which results in Peyton getting gunned down. Jill, now upset, pulls out her handgun and begins firing at the Nemesis to no avail. Alice, fully aware about what it was they were facing, orders Jill and Terri to leave while she keeps him distracted. Reluctantly, they flee, and while Alice keeps the beast distracted, Jill attempts to hot wire a truck. Starting the engine, Terri jumps into the truck seconds before the now resurrected Peyton lunges at Jill. Distraught, she shoots him point blank in the forehead before gunning it to the school. Along the way, the duo come across L.J, a criminal Jill released at the police station earlier that day.
Once arriving at the school, Jill informs L.J. of the situation and how they need to find Angela if they want any hope of escaping the City. Splitting up once inside, Jill finds Angela in an empty class room, the same room in which Terri was killed moments before her arrival. Now in a hurry, she leads Angie back towards the cafeteria, in which Angie informs Jill about the undead dobermans. Despite her attempt to sneak away, the dogs spot her, and though she tries her best, Jill cannot defeat them. When things were looking grim, an Ex-Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Force member Nicholai Ginovaef comes to their rescue, quickly explaining to Jill his reason for being there was the same as hers. Ceasing this opportunity, Jill takes Angie and makes way towards the kitchen in hopes of finding a way out. Sadly, it was blocked off earlier, more than likely by the faculty attempting to save themselves. The zombified dogs had returned, Nicholai also being no match for them, immediately going to Jill. Quick thinking kicked in when she realized all the stove tops were gas burners. So, quickly turning them all to the highest setting, she grabbed Angie and made for the door, lighting a match ad throwing it behind herself in hopes of igniting the gasoline. This would have worked, had the flame gone out. Just as she had lost hope, Alice appeared, cigarette in hand. With a smirk, she flicked the cigarette towards the kitchen door, grabbing a near by fireproof blanket to shield Angie from the blast, leaving Jill to duck for cover. Moments after, they regroup with L.J. and Carlos Oliveria, also an Ex-Umbrella soldier.
Once outside, the group use the payphone to contact Dr. Ashford, informing him that his daughter had been safely secured and that they now awaited further instructions. He informs them that were will be a helicopter at City Hall, awaiting take off. They quickly make their way to the designated location where Alice is forced to fight the Nemesis as the others are held captive. During their fight, Jill and the group break free of their restraints and with help from the Nemesis, they flee to the helicopter and take off just as the nuke begins to approach Raccoon City. As the nuke explodes, the helicopter is thrown into a violent tail spin somewhere above the Arklay Mountains. Everyone save Alice survives the crash and fled before Umbrella arrived to the site.
Three weeks pass after the events in Raccoon City before Jill, Carlos, L.J and Angela learn that Alice is still in fact alive. Discovering her location, they head for Umbrella's Detroit Medical Facility and retrieve Alice, getting passed the guards with forged documents. Known to them, Alice had now become "Project Alice", and when Jill asked her what had happened, she did not retrieve a response.
Five years go by, by which time 90% of the planet has turned into a wasteland. No one knows exactly what happened to Jill after retrieving Alice from the Detroit Medical Center, only that she had gone missing. She does return, however, though this time, she has returned under the control of Umbrella. She, along with an assault group, have been ordered to take down Alice and her friends on the Arcadia, a ship filled with human test subjects for Umbrella's ever expanding viral research.
Under the command of the Red Queen, a homicidal artificial intelligence originally created by Umbrella to control the HIVE, Jill is ordered to hunt down Alice and her new accomplice, Ada Wong via an electronic scarab, made to mind control her. She succeeds in capturing Ada, using her as bait to get Alice to stop running and hopefully resist capture. Regrettably, things don't go her way, and she is forced to fight Alice, one on one. This time, Jill is actually ordered to kill Alice, and she certainly tried to do just that. When things seemed dire, Alice finally pulled the mind controlling scarab off of Jill's chest, shooting it to pieces. This brings Jill back to her normal self, and together they get rid off "Evil" Rain, who at the time was fighting Leon S. Kennedy and Luther West.
Moments after the fighting had ended, a helicopter brigade swoops down, rescuing Jill, Alice, Leon, Ada and a little girl, Becky (who is in fact a clone), transporting them to what is left of Washington D.C. Here, they meet up with Albert Wesker, who states that the only way they can defeat Umbrella and the Red Queen is with his help. Sadly, Jill and Alice comply, knowing they're going to need all the help they can get, even if it is from Wesker.
Personality:
Jill Valentine has an unrivalled ability to keep calm under extreme pressure. She is a quick thinker, occasionally saving her life along with others with her last minute plans. She is determined, has a strong sense of justice, and an even stronger sense of loyalty. She will put her friends and partners before herself, often putting herself in a life threatening situation. Her determination stems from her search for the truth. This is evident when she, along with Alice and the others, attempt to expose Umbrella for their wrong-doings.
Jill has a bit of a soft spot for children. This is evident when she finds Angela at her school, immediately being taken by her courage and her ability to keep calm despite the undead walking about in her school. One can tell that she would do just about anything to keep the little girl safe, regardless of it having become her mission in order to escape Raccoon City.
Jill holds a considerable amount of respect towards her friends, especially Alice. When they first meet, Jill couldn't help but feel a little jealous of Alice's skill. She herself even said, "I'm good, but not that good", in regards to Alice killing the three lickers in the Church. But, whenever the time arises, she could depend on Alice and visa versa. Only time this doesn't happen is when Jill is under the control of Umbrella and the Red Queen. While Alice believes the normal Jill was still there, it was over shadowed by the scarab's ability to keep her mind locked on one thing, Capture or Kill Project Alice. This quickly changed once Alice succeeded in ripping the scarab from Jill's chest, returning her to her normal self.
In extreme situations, she can be relied on to keep her cool and figure out a plan. Under normal situations, outside of danger, she's very much your casual, "normal" human being.
Abilities:
☣Hand to Hand Combat: Jill's fighting skill are honed to match some of the best there are. Despite visually looking skinny, she's actually pretty muscular. She compensates her slight stature by being quick and flexible, favoring the use of grapples and kicks over her fists. She's also deadly with a knife, not to mention virtually fearless in a battle.
☣Marksman: Jill's aim is deadly accurate, making her a near perfect shot with a rifle of just about any caliber. Favoring speed, however, she often opts for a handgun (or two) and the occasional machine gun.
☣Master of Lock Picking: Give her something she can pick a lock with and there's no doubt she'll succeed in breaking in.
☣Miscellaneous: She is a rather skilled piano player and swimmer.
Weaknesses:
☣Human: Yes. Being human can be considered a weakness. After all, it only makes you that much easier to kill, what with your lack of any form of regeneration or anything like that.
☣Friends: Once she's made a friend, she'll fight to the end to make sure they're safe. Put her friend in danger? Chances are, she'll come running with little to no hesitation.
☣Being Infected: When you come from her world, this is always a possibility. Last thing she wants is to become what she hunts.
Sample: Here's a Dear_Mun thread. Hope this works well enough.

Background: Eliot was initially raised by his mother with no idea who his father was. She, unfortunately, married while he was still fairly young. Although his stepfather was a drunk, he still had a mostly normal life until his mother left them when he was ten.
At that point, his life fell apart. His stepfather quickly became not only neglectful but also abusive as his drinking became even worse. Any money he made was spent on booze, forcing ten-year-old Eliot to steal just to stay alive. The boy still managed to do well in school, not only keeping up with his studies but joining the wrestling team.
When Eliot turned 14, he ran away. If he was going to have steal to survive anyway, why put up with his stepfather's abuse as well? After a few days on his own, he was approached by Damien Moreau. After much hesitation, Eliot accepted an offer of a home in exchange for looking after several other boys around his age and keeping them in line. As it turned out, the other boys were dealing drugs for the man. Moreau forced the boy into prostitution, holding the other boys' wellfare over his head. Over the next year, Eliot did what he had to survive, growing increasingly demoralized and desperate. What the boy didn't realize was that this was simply a step to break his boundaries. When Eliot turned fifteen, Moreau brought him a proposal, an end to the prostitution in exchange for murder. Desperate for any escape, Eliot accepted it. Eliot found himself escorted not only around the city but around the country, making hits. This continued for a year before the FBI was finally brought in on the case. In the end, Moreau was arrested, tried, and sentenced to life in prison. Eliot was tried as a juvenile and then released.
Today, Eliot lives with his adopted parents, Nate and Sophie Ford, and his two siblings, Alec and Parker. They're gradually helping him to move on from his past and regain his self-esteem and a healthy self-concept.
Personality: Eliot is very haunted by his past. The guilt over his kills is like a weight on his shoulders. Between that and the prostitution, his self-concept is extremely warped. In his mind, he's a killer. He knows he's good at it and at least he's not being forced to have sex. At the same time, he hates it. His feelings about sex are equally mixed. His early experiences with working the streets left him with both an aversion and craving for sex. Additionally, it's become another weapon for him to use.
He often portrays himself as being tough and untouchable to those he doesn't know. While he generally tries to keep his head down and go mostly unnoticed, it isn't hard to draw him into a fight. This hides a broken, scared boy. He feels completely out of control. He expects people to either take advantage of the skills he had to develop to survive Moreau or to shun him for what he's done and, as a result, has a hard time forming meaningful relationships. Between his mother's abandonment, his stepfather's abuse, and Moreau, his trust has been broken so badly that he is now very slow to trust anyone.
Now that he has a family that has convinced him that they do want him simply for who he is, he has become extremely protective. He wants to make his new parents proud of him. His biggest fears are that either they will leave him or that they will be harmed because of him.
Abilities: Eliot is a former assassin. He knows how to kill cleanly and efficiently. He also can assess the security of a building or room with an eye to keeping potential killers out.
Weaknesses: Eliot fears for his family's safety. A threat to them will drive him to either attack or cooperate with any demands in exchange for them being left alone. He also very much fears rejection, especially once people find out about his past. Finally, he fears a repeat of the abuse he experienced on the streets. He also has a temper. While he normally keeps himself on a tight leash, sexual insults and insults to his new family will draw him into a fight.

Character Name:Nathan Ford
Canon: Leverage
Background:
Nate was raised by his father Jimmy Ford, who taught him all the skills he really needed. Jimmy was a bit of a con man and Nathan learned from watching him how to pull off jobs.
Though he didn’t start out as a criminal mastermind; Nate grew up and became an insurance investigator for IYS, the company he blames partially for his son’s death. When Sam got sick there was a treatment that could have saved Sam’s life, IYS refused to pay for the treatment since it was experimental. After that his life started to fall apart, he was fired from the company, and divorced his wife, even though he’s still in love with Maggie.
Eight years later he’s approached by Victor Dubenich, who has already pieced a team together to teal plane designs from a company that uses IYS for it’s insurance.
Nate is hesitant at first to take the job, but eventually does; only to find out he’s double crossed. He’s more pissed that Victor used his son to get him to take the job, he enlists Sophie, who’m he’s had run ins with before. Even though the team was gathered by Victor, they stick with Nate, becoming a modern day version of Robin Hood, filling the gap that the law tends to miss when it comes to the rich and powerful.
He and Sophie, living as a couple, eventually adopted a few kids, the first two being Parker and Alec. The pair were a handful, but helped Nate repair some of what IYS had taken away from him when Sam had died.
After a while Nate, through the team’s hacker Hardison, found Eliot. Working with the FBI he and Eliot Spencer the team’s Hitter helped to put Damian Moreau away. Nate found younger Eliot, and kept an eye on him for a few days, making sure he didn’t get into trouble before approaching him.
He had a feeling the kid had been abused, and without asking Sophie he brought Eliot home, hoping to help the boy heal from his ordeals. Caring for the kids has helped him with his drinking, he tries not to be drunk around them, especially Eliot.
The family’s moved from Boston to Santa Fe in order to get Eliot into another school, since most have kicked him out when he had episodes due to his background.
Nate’s still working jobs, trying his best to keep the kids out of it. Though there are times where he knows they’ll get involved. Nate’s determined to keep them safe, and would do anything for his kids and Sophie, or he’d die trying, they’re his whole life now. Doesn’t mean he thinks less of the Leverage crew who has become closer to him than family. There are some days that they’re the only thing keeping him from going over the edge.
Personality:
Nate is usually the man with the plan, he isn’t an expert on one thing, but has more than passing knowledge one a lot of things, which made him one of IYS’s best insurance guys.
Since he’s now a family man again though, well, the kids have first priority. If they need something he does his best to make sure that they’re taken care of, even if this means that he’ll have to adjust a con. Though he trusts his team is able to work without him if needed. The kids have helped him deal with the loss of his son Sam.
Though if the job the Leverage team is working involves kids, he still tends to take it a little hard. Nate refuses to let another family have to live through what he had with Sam’s death. If it isn’t for the kids and Sophie to real him back he’s glad to have Eliot there to remind him what’s important, even though the team’s hitter tends to be just as bad as he is if kids are involved.
Nathan’s trying his best to make sure the kids don’t get into the family business, since he wants them to have normal lives, even though with Eliot he knows that may be impossible. For now he’s trying to at least try to make things easier for Eliot, and make sure he doesn’t slip further into darker paths.
When it comes to his crew Nate’s slowly letting the others run cons, providing moral support when it comes to planning them. He wants to be sure that if he ever does pull out, they’re still able to be the best team they can be.
If a con’s falling apart Nate, if possible will be the last person out of the area, making sure his team can escape clean. Even though he’s the master mind, he cares about the others, doing his best to keep them out of trouble even though they’ve been doing their jobs longer than he’s been leading them. This is because they have become family, without the team, or the kids he’d slowly be drinking himself to the grave.
Only person that he still ‘acts’ like nothing’s going on around is his ex-wife Maggie, whom he’s pulled away from more only because he doesn’t want her getting hurt because of his work. She has a new life now, and he doesn’t want to interfere unless there’s no other choice. After all, Sophie may be an expert at art, but Maggie is better.
Despite living with Sophie he hasn’t asked her to marry him yet, not sure if he’s really ready to take that plunge yet again. Every chance he gets though he spoils her, be it shopping in Paris before coming back from a job in Europe, or simple things like cooking dinner for two.
When it comes to his adopted son Eliot he’s probably a little more careful about drinking around him. He doesn’t want to give the kid flashbacks to his childhood before Moreau. He’s also careful not to push the kid into doing too much too fast, other than school, he knows the kid skips out, and doesn’t blame him knowing that things get hard, but he does try to get him tutors to help so he doesn’t get too far behind.
Abilities: Not so criminal master mind. Though he walks the fine line. It's his job to make sure his team has a plan and works both together like a well oiled machine and as separate entities in order to 'Robin Hood' from the rich and evil.
Weaknesses: His family is a major weakness for him, Nate would drop anything to make sure his adopted son is safe. He also has control issues, always needing to be in control, and a drinking problem, that he refuses to admit he has.

Character Name: Kaede/Lucy
Canon: Elfen Lied
Background:Kaede, known to the researchers who kept her captive for three years as "Lucy", is the only pure, full-female Diclonius in existence. Her unusual appearance has alienated her from humans her entire life; she was abandoned by her father, bullied by children and adults as a child, and eventually held as a captive and experimental subject by a secret organization. Embittered and alienated from humanity, she has come to believe that humans are essentially evil and inferior, and that her own race must supplant them. Unfortunately for humans, she can back up this hatred, and defend herself from theirs, by use of her vectors--a set of four, two-meter-long invisible arms which are much faster, stronger, and more versatile than normal limbs.
Diclonius are a human offshoot possessing short bony horns, pale skin, pink through dark magenta hair, and ruby eyes. Except for Kaede, who was born of human parents (basically a mutant) and developed at a normal rate, Diclonius are sterile females who age at twice normal human rate and develop their vectors at the volatile age of three. They are born when Kaede(or one of them) uses her powers to alter the DNA of men she comes in contact with; every child he fathers after that will be one of these female "drones", also known as Silpelit. Unlike the rest of her race thus far, Kaede is fertile and would presumably give birth to other full Diclonius children. She and her "drones" also share a weak psychic link which allows them to find each other. All Diclonius are hyperintelligent, yet their emotions mature at the same rate as a human's and are very human-like.
Unfortunately for the Silpelit, a top-secret, government-backed organization discovered Kaede and her "offspring" and began a lengthy campaign to collect all of them. Some were surrendered at birth by their human parents, convinced that their children were victims of a dangerous genetic plague. Some were collected after reaching the age of three and having their first tantrum after developing their vectors--a tantrum that invariably ended with their killing every human around them. Lucy was hunted for years, learning to kill more subtly (usually aneurisms or heart attacks caused by materializing the tips of her vectors' fingers inside someone's heart or brain)in order to avoid detection. She also deliberately infected as many men as she could, creating thousands of Silpelits over the years, all of which were either captured or killed by the organization. The captured ones were subject to brutal experiments, as was Lucy herself when she was finally captured at the age of fifteen.
Most of the captured offspring died in horrible ways, sometimes taking several humans with them in the process. Their treatment at the hands of their captors left them broken, some brainwashed into servitude, some driven violently insane, many kept under mind control to prevent them from attacking their captors. Kaede resisted being controlled, and eventually escaped.
Generally she is played either immediately after her escape (minus the bullet to the head) or post-series. Her split personality, Nyuu, is not generally in evidence in either version.
Personality: Lucy has been deeply traumatized by her treatment by humans, and is cold and distrustful toward them. She is kind to animals and never hurts them, and will be curious about any nonhumans and empowered humans she meets. She has a lot of self-loathing, which she compensates for in pride and a sense of being superior to humanity. Originally a curious, sweet, nonviolent and naive girl, everything changed when she was traumatized into unleashing her vectors for the first time, tearing apart a group of childhood bullies who had killed her pet dog. She began to listen to what she calls her "DNA voice", which tells her that humans are evil and inferior, and that she should kill them before they can hurt her. (This drive to kill is possessed by all Diclonii, and is likely caused by the extreme trauma of their treatment by humans). She does not have to obey the voice, however; but when humans are being monstrous to her, which happens a lot in the series, she often finds herself agreeing with it.
But Kaede has a kinder side as well, which can be coaxed out with consistent, good, trustworthy treatment. She is pretty sensitive and defensive, however, and has a violent temper(and in the anime, hideously bloody, though I'll be toning this down some except when her life is directly threatened). Betrayal sends her into a frenzy. But if befriended in an honest and tolerant manner, she will be very confused at first...and then become shyly friendly and very protective.
Kaede has a deep hatred of those who harm animals, exploit innocent people or treat her in an intolerant or bullying manner. Her sense of vengeance is dialed up to eleven. She previously worked to destroy humanity by spreading her genetic material in the form of her Silpelit "drones" as much as possible, but has held off after discovering the fate of her genetic offspring during her three-year imprisonment.
Abilities: Kaede, besides being unusually strong and fit for a young woman, is hyperintelligent, fearless, and very good at thinking on her feet, especially in a fight. Her race appears to possess great resilience, capable of surviving hideous wounds (including full dismemberment) and recovering much more quickly than a human from injuries and exhaustion (though they cannot regrow limbs). But most of her powers are focused through her vectors--a set of four two-meter-long, invisible tendrils ending in human-like hands. Vectors can only be seen by other Diclonii; they are incredibly fast and agile, and each one has superhuman strength sufficient to lift and fling a fishing boat, punch through a steel door, or propel her up to fifty meters away (and land her safely) using a form of handspring. Her vectors can be rendered completely intangible, or solidify to varying degrees, including to a sharpened state that can cut through stone, and a near-impenetrable state that can protect her from attacks. They can shift almost instantaneously to deflect small-caliber bullets, even if she is targeted by several assailants. Because she usually uses these powers in combat, she has found many ways in which to inflict horrendous wounds with them. By solidifying the tips of her vector fingers inside a person's head, she can render them unconscious, hold them hostage, disable another Diclonius's powers, or cause a stroke and kill them. She can kill in an instant if someone is within her two-meter range, usually by decapitation or gross dismemberment. If someone is out of range, she can fire small objects with her vectors, their strength and speed making the objects fly fast as bullets. She is also fond of flinging larger objects, as well as using them as shields. She can easily attack multiple targets at once. If she wishes, she can use her vectors to (painlessly, or via a wound) alter a human male's DNA so that all of his offspring will be Silpelits. She and the other Diclonii can sense each other within a half-mile range.
Weaknesses: Kaede's vectors cannot repel heavy-caliber bullets such as sniper rifle and .50 caliber tungsten loads. They cannot repel energy weapons, explosions, magic or psionic attacks. She has a resistance to mental control, but illusions can fool her, she can be knocked unconscious or overwhelmed, and sufficient pain will disrupt her powers completely. Anything that gets through her defenses can wound her normally. Kaede suffers from flashbacks on occasion which will distract her and prevent her from attacking; in addition she will avoid harming animals and friends at (almost literally) all costs. Finally, if one or both of her horns are damaged or destroyed she will become unable to use her vectors temporarily and may fall into a coma as they regrow. (Manga!Kaede was able to regrow them instantly at one point, but she's ridiculously overpowered.)
Sample:Time dragged as Kaede slipped in and out of consciousness. Her body ached from being strapped to a horizontal gurney for what must have been a very long time. Through the mummy bag and mask encasing her--the latter pumping a steady stream of sweetish-smelling gas into her face--she could hear the rumble of a truck engine and the muffled sound of voices speaking English. She strained to overhear them, but between her fuzzy-headedness and imperfect grasp of the language she couldn't make anything meaningful out.
Kaede knew that the facility had been attacked by people with American accents; she had lashed out when they had tried to confiscate her, killing several, but they had used some kind of gas on her and she had lost consciousness. She didn't know how long she had been out, but she knew from her blurry memories that they had kept her sedated and on the move for at least a day. From the way her ears had popped there had been a long plane ride involved. And she could no longer sense any of the others. She had been transported a very long way, and given the accents of her abductors she could somewhat guess to where. Why seemed fairly clear as well: one group of humans had seen her as a possession worth keeping, so why not another?
Time passed, and slowly she discovered herself becoming more alert. The sweetish smell from the mask was fading. She started to be able to understand the conversation going on near her.
"Did you remember to change the canister on the tranq mask?"
"...shit, I thought you did it."
"No, man, it was my turn last time. You'd better get back there and fix it before she starts to wake up."
"Ok fine, but pull over. You know what happens if I drop one of the damn things and the seal breaks. We'll wake up next Wednesday."
"Whatever." The van started to slow down and pull over.
Kaede let the van come to a stop before she unleashed her vectors. There was an abortive shriek and the sound of shattering glass. Her arms were free. She reached up and removed her blindfold, finding herself sitting in the sliced-up wreckage of a cargo van. Blood was splashed everywhere. She ignored the mess and stood up unsteadily, stripping off the ragged mummy bag. They were on a strip of highway leading across softly rolling scrubland. Sunset burned beyond the mountains in front of her, and a large, bright city glimmered in the distance. No one else was around.
"...free."
She started barefoot across the plain, heading for the city.
